Kobe and LeBron shouldn't have been as high in the rankings as they were.

Kobe should be fourth and LeBron should go down a little bit. AI is too high up. Steve Nash, Jason Kidd, Dwayne Wade and T-Mac should all be ahead of the overrated Allen Iverson.

Yao ming is underated. How can you put him behind brad miller. Yao deserves to be top 20 if not top 15. You just cant put the second best center in the league at 35.

i can understand why people are disappointed in this selection. But the way he has played this season, is backing up his rankings. Hes the pistons leading scorer since the all star break. He is playing amazing and he is constantly developing into a better player.

Well no offense or anything but he is kinda disliked by half the basketball world right now..[IMG] Most of the Raptors fans probably wouldn't have voted for him (and there's tons of Raptors fans) and there's also fans from other teams who dislike him as well.

so prove me wrong!! show me he isnt the best in the NBA!! You cant even compare any other guard / SF because only 4 other Gs/SFs have ever averaged 25/7/7 like LBJ is...fowards are more tricky to compare .....prove me WRONG!!

    Tim Duncan - 2 MVP's and 2 Rings
    KG - MVP
Kobe - Most clutch in the game and 3 Rings

Yeah, I think that could be a factor. With the Grizzlies moving and Toronto being the only Canadien team, there has to be TONS of Raptor fans.

    I wouldn't consider Carter a top 20 player though.

With how Vince has played as a Net, their's not doubt he's been a Top 20 player. He was a Top 20 player last season, and as a Net he's playing even better than that, since they actually have an offense.

can't keep on living in the past man. They were each great and all but Kobe were the best in the league at some point but the fact is that RIGHT NOW LBJ is the best in the league. Its hard to compare him to KG, TD, and Shaq because they play different positions but comparing him to Kobe is easy. Kobe is scoring 1.8 ppg more than LBJ but is shooting 43% from the floor as opposed to LBJ's 48%. LBJ is getting 1.1 rpg more, 7 to 5.9. LBJ is also getting 1.3 more apg 7.4 compared to Kobe's 6.1. LBJ is averging 2.19 spg compared to Kobe's 1.3 spg. Kobe is averaging almost a full turnover more per game than LeBron is 4.09 to 3.17. Finally LBJ's efficiency rating is 3.3 higher than Kobe's is. Where can you show that Kobe is better?

...because the difference between the #1 center, and the #2 center in the league is HUGE. Yao isn't Top 20, but he should be higher than he was placed.

On defense, Kobe clearly has the advantage. Also, LeBron has better stats because of his supporting cast. Gooden, Big Z, Snow, and McInnis are way better than Chucky, Mihm, Lamar (out and playing out of position), and an inconsistent Caron.

Lebron's supporting cast isn't really that good, McInnis has lost a lot of minutes from weak play, and though he was consistent all year, he's dropped off the last month. Snow is nothing offensively, and they have no shooters, not to talk of a consitent outside shooter. Gooden has been very inconsistent all year, he can be very good, or pretty bad from game to game. Ilguaskas has been the consistent guy, offensively he's brough it most games, and he's not too consistent defensively, but has the shot blocking. Also they have virtually no bench, so I don't know if that's a good argument at all.

The difference would just be that they have a good inside option in Ilguaskas, as opposed to the taem being more talented. Having a high percentage inside option can be underatted by people. Odom is more talented than Ilguaskas, but as a second option, Ilguaskas can have more impact.

Snow gives them about as much production as Jumaine Jones does, maybe less even...

Inconsistency is something that happens everywhere, Kobe himself has been highly inconsistent all year long, and with Odom, I wouldn't call him out of position anymore, he's pretty much settled as a PF/SF.
