Title says it all, VC took it to the pistons and the pistons couldn't stop him. He had season highs in points, rebounds, and freethrows. Kidd also dropped 14 assists in the game.
im so pissed i was spoce to go to that game!!!! but my grades are bad so my mom never ordered the tickets. (even though the only reason i wanted to go to that specific game was to see jojo afterwards)
Carter's paid his dues...Vinsanity is back*, this is front page news. Huge game by Vince. He could of scored 50, but Frank did the proffesional thing by taking him out with 5+ Minutes left. 41 Points, 11 REB, 5 AST, 2 STL, 2 BS...All this against one of the, if not the best, defense in the league. How bout the Frontcourt? They did a good job containing the Wallaces. Jabari, Nenad and Collins combine to go 13-14 from the Field, 9 Rebounds(not really impressive)...but the limited the Wallaces to 14 boards in 64 combined minutes. <font size="1">* Not the dunking machine Vinsanity...The scoring one, top player in the league one...well he's getting there, but you know.</font>
I saw that game. Vince was unstoppable and made the pistons look like your local junior college team. Good Luck to all the New jersey fans. I hope when jefferson comes back they are even better! I only saw the forth quarter every body and if u saw the game, what happenedto his eye?

Wow, that surprising, not the Vince 41, but the fact that the Nets blew out the Pistons, really impressive game by Vince though, not only with the scoring, but also the 11 rebound, 5 assists, and 2 steals and blocks.
One of those games where everything dropped for the Nets. They played near prefect basketball. Vince just couldn't be stopped. It's happens...
Suprise Suprise, the Pistons are not living up to their playoff hype. I guess the people who were actually watching them play know that they were fluking the they're playoff run. And here we are today, all "true pistons fans" have jumped off the bandwagon and this team is back to absolute crap.
^ Well, you're a bobcats fan, 'nuff said. BTW, if I'm so wrong, can anyone tell my why the Pistons aren't playing like they did in the Playoffs/Finals? I'll be waiting for your excuses.

It happens, you will always lose to teams far worse than you are during a long season. Pistons have had plenty of problems this season on and off the floor which has caused them to play inconsistant basketball. They have only played 1 game this season with a full team. I'm just waiting for them to get 100% and lets see what these guys do. They are playing much better basketball than they were early in the season and the points allowed and FG% proves that. Fluke playoff run? guess you aren't aware that the Pistons have had 50+ win season for the last 3 seasons, made the conference semis 3 seasons ago, the conference finals two seasons ago and won the title last year. So how exactly can It be a fluke run when they have improved through each season? Rasheed Wallace was the missing piece last season and when he arrived the Pistons only lost 4 out of 28 regular season games. Thats not fluke, It's called a very good team turned around into a GREAT championship team. How exactly have the Pistons turned back to crap? Pistons havn't been crap for a good 4/5 years and the fact ONE FREAKING LOSS turns them crap is laughable. Almost are laughable as your username, guess you also think the Lakers are still an elite team, right? <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">BTW, if I'm so wrong, can anyone tell my why the Pistons aren't playing like they did in the Playoffs/Finals? The Pistons and Spurs the year before weren't playing great basketball and then finished the year strong and turned It up for the post season. The same will likely happen again.
Your excuses amuse me What's funny is how the Pistons Basketball can't do the talking for themselves, they have to have their bandwagon fans come in and try bring the spirits up and try to cover up the fact that they're a horrible team that fluked it through the playoffs.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Mihm4MVP:</div><div class="quote_post">Your excuses amuse me, keep em comin'!!!! </div> Unless you can actually argue my comments please don't bother posting in this forum. Last thing I want is a guy with bad grammer along with bad knowledge.
You have no arguments, you have excuses. True teams let their basketball do all the talking for them, and not their fans
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Mihm4MVP:</div><div class="quote_post">You have no arguments, you have excuses. True teams let their basketball do all the talking for them, and not their fans </div> I posted no excuses, all facts. Pistons have played inconsistant basketball but they don't normally play great basketball till the 2nd half of the season. If you had any sense you would realise most past NBA champions have done so. Why turn It on in january/february when march and april is the time to do It. II'm also still trying to fiqure out how being 9 games over 500 and 2nd seed means the Pistons are crap. Of course people like you never use logic when they post on message boards so It doesn't surprise me one bit.
<u>True teams let their basketball do all the talking for them, and not their fans</u> Until then, your "arguments" (excuses) are invalid.
What part of "Pistons have played inconsistant basketball but they don't normally play great basketball till the 2nd half of the season. If you had any sense you would realise most past NBA champions have done so. Why turn It on in january/february when march and april is the time to do It. " Don't you understand? why should championship teams burn out all their energy and go all out at this time of year? It's march/april time that you do that. This year is the first time in many years that the Spurs have played great basketball in the first half of the season. The past Spurs teams have never come on until after the all-star break. You also still havn't answered how the Pistons can be crap when they are the 2nd seed and are 9 games over 500. Your way of thinking is one loss against a worse team makes you crap. If thats the case then every team in this league is crap. Unless you are going to use logic in your posts this thread is going to be locked. It's already gone off topic due to your trolling.
