Hey guys just wanted to know why all of a sudden when Kobe gets injured everyone stops posting about the Lakers.

It's as if all of you are Kobe fans and not Laker fans, There is no special section in JBB for Kobe.

All i wanted to say is lets get the Lakers board rolling again everythings been dead for so long.

    Adam.

I really don't think it has been dead. Shape has kept this thing active, I have done previews for the most part (sorry about none for today's game...I didn't get a lot of sleep n woke up late).

It's some what less active, I think a lot of it has to do with the Lakers losing. The die hard fans still support the Lakers and all the fairweather bandwagon fans have jumped ship. I have to admit, it's tough watching the Lakers this season. Our superstar is injured, the team is inconsistent, and now we've lost our headcoach. Despite it all, the Lakers are still in the post season and we still have a good chance to make the postseason and make some noise. Go Lakers!

Yha thats true but it sucks for all the die hard fans because once the Lakers start winning again the Bandwagoners are going to jump back on.

    Anyway Let's Go Lakers!!!

    Yeah I noticed that too.

Don't get down, the Knicks forum has really not been like it used to. What you need to do is keep it rolling. Come up with interesting topics and really let them know what's on your mind. You are a good fan to stick with your team through thick and thin. Just keep on trying. POST MORE!

It could also be that mid-season wall a lot of fans hit...yes fans hit those walls too.

For me personally, I don't have access to cable tv, so with their recent long stretch of home games, I haven't been able to catch any games....

I suspect with the football season now over, more fans will become active in this forum...although los angeles doesn't have a football team to begin with so who knows...

I haven't had much time to watch the laker games nowadays. What with school practice and games over here...but here in the Philippines, it depends on which game is showing at what time. I usually have to watch the replays since they show the games live while I'm already at school (it's the morning here when the games are being played in the evening).

There are plus' and minus' to everything. Let's just leave it at that.

I think there probably should be an increase in talk right now, to be honest. Must be people are hurting for extra time. I think Kobe not playing right now would be cause for more conversation, given that there's alot of new uncertainties in roles, etc. with Kobe not there.

However, the die-hards will stick around and talk through lulls. That's what smart basketball people do, find something to discuss. There's always something that needs fixing on your favorite team.

Other then the past 3 game's (well 2, i didnt expect LA to dominate SA) i have been very satisfied with how the lakers have played. Now im a huge kobe fan, but i LOVE the lakers and i always love the oppertunity to see what our bench can actully do.

Maybe my expectations arent as big as most folks are, but ive used this tough time to test my love for the lakers and my morale is still positive. Lakers have had some chances they missed out on to really gain some ground on team's like SAC, PHX and Dallas. But they didnt capitolize and they have noone to blame but themselves. That last 3 games or so, the energy wasnt there in the 1st 3 qtrs....but man did they show some grit in the 4th.....but you cant do that in the NBA.

Ive seen the lake show get down after a few blown calls by the ref and they take themselves out of the game. LA has more then a couple guys who can spark the defense and change the momentum of the game, and they need to FIGHT bottom line.

Noone is gonna respect LA, until they step up and make teams take notice with good solid defense from the tip-off until the final buzzer. Good solid D, create's many fast break oppertunities and easy baskets. The turnovers is what is really murdering LA early, cut back on the turnovers and play smart ball.

I love how people are trying to blame the lack of post on KB's injury and because the Lakers are losing. The Lakers were losing before and people still posted. Come on... you guys know that you loss a lot of Laker posters because of what went down with Real. IMO.
