No mood to make a preview, so here is a game thread.

Washington tries for its second win in a row after a four game slide. Can they do it? Gilbert Arenas has been on a tear lately, can he continue that? We will find out.

I think Washington can and will win this one, 101-95

Close game so far, the Wizards are keeping it close, need to make a little run to end the 3rd, or at the star of the 4th.

Wizards Win a close thriller !!

If anyone doesn't think Gilly should be an allstar, watch this game... he had 43 points, 9 boards, and 6 assists. He led the the Wizards in all those categories. Tied his career high tonight, wow...he really deserves an allstar spot, and I really think this game locked it.

    Wiz - 108
    Indy - 104

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- Gilbert Arenas was at his best when the Washington Wizards needed him most.

Arenas scored a career high-tying 43 points, including 16 in the decisive fourth quarter, as the Wizards posted a 108-104 victory over the Indiana Pacers.

Averaging 30 points in his last 10 contests, Arenas made one last pitch for a spot on the Eastern Conference All-Star squad by helping the Wizards rally in the final period.</div>

Wizards prevail once again! Gilbert Arenas led the team for the victory once again, he tied for his career high 43 points and yea he does deserve to be in the all-star game now. If he's not an allstar, then I dunno who is. Great game for the wizards again.

On another note, Some people will call me a homer, biased, whatever...Gilbert Arenas is a top 5 MVP candidate, everyone thought the Wizard's would start slipping when Larry Hughes went down, granted they lost 4 in a row, Gilbert was ejected from one of those games. He is the best offensive player in the game, he is unstoppable. I would take him over Wade, Marbury, Francis, and a lot of other players. Once he nails his defensive game down, he will be a top 2 guard, right along with LeBron in the future.

The scary thing about this kid? Only 23. He is already a top 3 clutch player in the game this year, and is climbing that list fast. He draws fouls with ease, gets to the basket with ease...this kid is going to be an Allen Iverson type player, with Peja range. That is scary.

Let the people call me a homer or whatever, this kid is pure amazing. If he isn't an allstar, the NBA will lose a lot of respect from a lot of Wizard fans.

I think he's maybe a top 10 candidate, but not top 5. Right now Arenas is looking like Allen Iverson with a killer long range shot, which is scary, very scary. Considering he just turned 23, and is already one of the best scorers in the league, he's got a great jumpshot, can get in the lane and to the line at will, he's definately going to be a superstar, and maybe top 10 player soon.

He is already a top 15 player IMO, and moving up that list fast. He is so quick, draws fouls, hits long range shots..if he can just up his defensive game, he will be the Wizard's best move since...well...in a very long time.

Yea he's already top 15-20 right now, and will get to top 10. His defense has been getting better, but he's still a fairly weak on ball defender. Arenas is probably the best offensive player I've seen or know about on the Wizards/Bullets. Jordan was 39 when he was on the Wiz so he doesn't count, and the only other guy I can think of is Webber, and he wasn't this explosive an offensive player when he was on the Wizards.
