<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">EAST RUTHERFORD - As a rookie, Kyle Korver finished third in the 3-point contest at all-star weekend.

He said afterward that his goal was to come back and win it if he had the opportunity.

    He'll get his chance.

"That's what I want to do," Korver said after the official announcement Monday that he'd been invited back to the 3-point competition. "I'm not going there to get third again."

Korver ranks second in the league in 3-pointers made (135), 3-pointers attempted (327) and is 13th in 3-point percentage (41.3).

"It was a good experience, but I was real nervous last year," Korver said. "Now I know what to expect."

Korver, a 6-foot-7 forward, joins Ray Allen, Joe Johnson, Quentin Richardson, Vladimir Radmanovic and defending champion Voshon Lenard, who has been injured and been unable to play in a game this season.</div>

Kyle Korver will win this time around. I believe Voshon Lenard ankle will play a role in his first round exit. Quentin Richardson and Vladimir Radmanovic are game shooters. As for Joe Johnson, I'd say he's a mix between a game shooter and a shootout type player. If he's feeling some kind of rhythm, he could potentially make the finals, but I'm seeing a second round exit for him. So when its all said and done, it will be Ray Allen and Kyle Korver going at it in the Finals.

So when it comes down to Ray Allen and Kyle Korver?again I'm taking Korver. Korver is better at these shootout situations, now while Ray Allen is a better game shooter and overall shooter for that matter, these types of competitions were made for players like Kyle Korver and thus that is why I literally have my money on him.

Last year, this was something new to Korver. He was a rookie, he was in the spotlight, and the pressure probably got to him. Now that he's become more familiar with the NBA and has made a name for himself with his deadly accuracy, the second around I think he will be much more confident. Don't be surprised if he knocks down 25 shots out of the 30 on one of his sets.

Well I'm happy to see Korver in it and I feel good about his chances of winning it all to be honest. He'll have to get past Ray Allen first though I think it'll be him or Korver.

Damon Jones got snubbed from the shoot out by the way.
