"I told him what I've told everybody else ? I'll be back," Houston said.

Houston missed his 10th straight game last night with his arthritic knees, and will be out until after the All-Star break.

Last weekend, Dolan admitted, "Allan's obviously concerned about it. I hope he comes back fully, but I know he's got tough decisions to make."

Dolan would save a bundle if Houston retired for medical reasons, with insurance picking up 80 percent of the contract minus a half-season deductible. Houston gets every penny.

Houston and Dolan have a special relationship revolving around golf.

"He told me what he told you guys ? that I'll support you and he said make sure you have a good plan," Houston said of Dolan. </div> Source

I bet he'll be back and I hope so. NY is a tough place to play. The impatient fans want to see something right away all the time. Personally I don't think Houston should rush. If he comes back healthy by the time we make the playoffs (hopefully), he will be at full strength and provide us with the experience that we need and of course his shot too!

Very very dissapointing. [IMG] JWohl was really hoping that he would retire soon.
