The Suns bench at least now looks respectable, mainly due to Jim Jackson. Alot better than It was during the early part of the season.
Good aquisition. McCarty does bring some decent size and shooting to the team. I kind of think we have a "3 Headed Dog" off the bench with Barbosa, McCarty, and Jackson.
I like this trade, it brings another threat off the bench for the Suns plus somebody who has experience. PG - Barbosa SG - Jackson SF - McCarty PF - Hunter C - Hunter Not a bad bench for a team that has their starters playing 40 minutes.
Not a bad pickup considering they will probably get a late second round pick anyway. Although Walter has had a dissapointing season so far. I think his average will go up a little being the first or second man off the bench.
And, its a protected 2nd rounder at that, since its the one you guys aquired from the Warriors. I believe through the 40th pick this year. I hope Walter has success with the Suns, there just wasn't room for him on the C's anymore.
