    Starting Lineup:

    pg - Speedy Claxton
    sg - Derek Fisher
    sf - Jason Richardson
    pf - Mike Dunleavy Jr.
    c - Adonal Foyle

    Magic:

    pg: Steve Francis
    sg: Doug Christie
    sf: Grant Hill
    pf: Dwight Howard
    c: Cato

With our midget lineup, I don't know if we can win. But I do like Dunleavy at power forward.

Man this game is really exciting! I love the ball movement and everyone is hitting their shots. Only problem is so are they. Does anyone think Adonal is too soft to be playing center? My goodness he's afraid of contact or something whereas Dale Davis isn't afraid to take it in strong for a bucket.

Foyle is definetly lacking aggression..He has shown it in stretches this season on defense..

Fisher is much better from the SG position..He needs someone to set him up for shots rather then him setting up others since he never had to run the Laker offense because Kobe and Shaq demanded so much attention, he had alot wide open looks that he doesn't get here much when he playing pg..

I only can check the box score.
But the things I like are the fact the Dunleavy is playing well again at pf.
I like the 61 pts also.
Also I think fisher will revert back to his old ways in few games. ie. Missing shots from all over.
How come pietrus hasnt played it says 0 mins for him.

WOW!! Folye is the go to guy in the 4th quarter. Need to start giving Foyle the ball 15 times a game. He'll put up Shaq numbers soon, but more becuase he can hit fts at at 55 percent rate.

Whats wrong with dunleavy, the guy hasnt taken many shots in the second half. Dont think he even scored.

Charbarkaba. He is showing that he can play he just need playing time.

Great win for the Warriors. I really thought that the Magic would have a blowout win. (sorry guys) But Jason Richardson just put his head down and lead them to a victory. Great win.

Sweet jesus, we won on the road!

I give Richardson an A+ for his confidence down the stretch and his newly improved freethrow shooting.

Actually, no one looked bad tonight. Fisher and Carbarkapa are figuring out their roles and really impressed me. Fisher's D can be a little slow against quick 1's, but is great against 2 guards that aren't big scoring threats (in this case Christie). Carbarkapa will be able to help the offense big time. His size and speed are good enough that he will be able to put up points against almost any 4. </optimism>

I agree with you about Carbarkpa(SP?) . But I am not sold on fisher. The only thing he brings is shooting and when thats not working he, which is most nights this season, he is worthless.

But how about Folye, 11-13 pts in that 4th quarter. I think he helped keep this game from slipping away in the 4th. So J-rich could take over in the final minutes.

Good game, J-Rich did real food. As did Foyle and Cabarkapa. Fisher has some good points, but most of them came on jumpers. He needs to learn that he is not Kobe and he needs to pass. Anyway, welcome InfamousCanibus. Always glad to have more W's fans. Also, InfamousCanibus, your sig is too big. The max size is 268 by 100. If you want, I can make you a sig though [IMG] Oh yeah, and feel free to post info on yourself in the Warriors Fans Roll Call. Once you get 5 posts, feel free to PM me if you need anything

And in all fairness he had six assists which isn't bad for him. Foyle had some good plays, but man I was on the edge of my seat when he had the ball in his hands or when he was trying to grab a defensive rebound. It's like on most nights he'll usually figure out some way to screw up a layup/dunk or have the ball squirt right out of his hands like a wet bar of a soap when securing a rebound. The guy's got no hops anymore, but he's brought a little finesse into his game (which is annoying when you just want your big man to slam down the ball on top of their center with authority. Like Dale Davis did earlier after he strolled onto the court all gangstaly. That guy's a muthaf-n "G" [IMG]

We did all right for a team against a team with two allstars, a pretty decent center tandem, and pretty solid running game at that with a lot of good passers (Hill, Christie, Turkoglu, Nelson, heck even Francis)

Anybody see Dunleavy play at the 4? He had some sweet passes, some good offensive plays but his game kind of fizzled at the 2nd half, but that's okay because we had Cabarkapa as his backup. But it was funny because coach Johnny Davis couldn't believe his bigs were getting schooled by Mike Dunleavy so they put in Stacy Augmon to lock him down and starting posting him up. That's two good games Dun has had. I think the coach may have found him his new position at the 4 instead of the 3.

I actually think he's a better defender on the 4 than the 3. He stays in position and knocks the ball free when he gets an opportunity. I can't really picture him swatting a shot into the stands, although that would be hilarious.

Playing Dunleavy and Foyle in the post is a problem for rebounding, unfortunately. It seemed like the only times we came up with a rebound was when all five guys gang-banged Howard or Cato until the ball popped free.

If we find ourselves against a weak frontcourt in the future (like Boston in the game we beat them at home), it would be interesting to stick Dunleavy at the 4 and Murphy at the 5. Run the offense through Dunleavy in the post so he can find cutters, then if their center starts cheating in, pop it out to Murphy for a jumper. Murphy and Dunleavy would combine to rebound pretty well on the other end as well. Although with that defense, there wouldn't be too many rebounds to get. Not exactly an orthodox idea, but the Warriors are hardly an orthodox team.

Random thoughts aside, I like that Montgomery is starting to experiment with the young guys. Hopefully he can figure out something that works time and again.

I guess it depends if Murphy is going to be the player that just fires away or looks to pass. I mean some called Jrich a ballhog, at least he gets the team 4 or 5 assists a night when he sets them up. What does Murphy average? I like the guy but he's becoming like Wally Szcerbiak. You need him at the sixth man role because he keeps the ball out of Garnett's hands and you already have a shoot-first-pass second point guard in Sam Cassell. What about Dunleavy at the 4, with Dale Davis at starting center? With Dun out there you need intimidation. D-squared can provide that. I mean just look at the way he strolls out onto the court when he's subbed in. He looks like he's going to kick someone's ass.

Yeah, I know what you are saying Custodian. D-squared looks ready to kill. He always has that look on his face. He should start for a while. The Cliff experiment was fun, but he shoots the threes to much and D-squared has post presence and like you said, can be very intimidating. The sad thing is that when Cliffy starts, J-Rich is our best post presence in the starting lineup of Speedy, J-Rich, Dunleavy, Murphy, and Cliff [IMG]

Dunleavy is finally showing some things. At 6'9" he's tall enough to play the 4. All he needs to do is rebound and he will be quicker than the other 4s. I'm not saying he's Nowitzki but there were concerns about Dirk's ability to play the 4 also because of his lack of size and rebounding but he's done okay. Maybe that's been the key, getting Dunleavy against bigger players rather than smaller players. Dunleavy really looks unsure on the post against smaller guys, he's looking for the double team rather than being aggressive and making a move. Could the puzzle finally have been solved?
