David Aldridge reported that the Raptors are working on a buyout of Alonzo Mourning, and he should join the Heat soon.

He should help the Heat giving them a good presence at PF, and also to backup at center, and he will rebound, block shots and even give some offense, hey kind like what we wanted [IMG]

I'm pretty dissapointed that we're getting nothing in return for him...

A buyout is basically like saying 'Take your money and leave.'

At least that is one more headache the Raptors can forget about. Babcocks tenure in Raptorland has not been a good one so I hope this can get settled as soon as possible.

ZO is a bitch, i hope he never gets a championship ring, because he certainly doesnt deserve it. Kidney problems or not.

And how hard is it to win one when youre riding someone else's back for it?? [IMG] [IMG]

Finally...He got millions from us already for the games he didn't play, and now he's getting more to play for another team. I'm still puzzled on why we didn't suspend the guy.

does this free up his salary from our cap space this year?.....

if so, something may happen soon in terms of a blockbuster trade...!!!

yea..this was the stupidest part of the trade....i mean we traded vince basically for 2 draft picks...and they rn't even high picks.....and i thought we dont say alot of cap for buying zo out neways,...so i say just ...do this...u better play for raptors or dont play at all

So we're basically rewarding someone who has refused to play for us and letting him go without any consequences? What kind of message is this to the other players in the league, who might someday get traded to the Raptors? - "maybe if we don't report to the Raptors, they will eventually give in and buy us out."
