I just saw on TNT that they were saying a trade that would send Glenn Robinson back to Milwaukee and Keith Van Horn back to Philadelphia. What do you think of this trade if it happens? I think Bucks deserve someone else with that trade along with Big Dog. I dont think he is as good as he was and neither is Van Horn. But I still think Van Horn is a little better than Robinson.
I would take just about anyone. We have a good player on the team that does not play because he dosen't start what the ****. If keith wants to come back to pjilly cmon i would rather have him anyway. Plzz let this trade happen.
what <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Saves:</div><div class="quote_post">They both suck.</div> I don't think keith vanhorn sucks he just dosen't play with entensity like he know he can take another look playa :-o
I'm not a big fan of keith Van Horn but I think the trade would benefit the sixers cos I thought that Robinson was Injured????? Is he?
Philadelphia not too long ago was talking about how soft he is, doesn't step up in crunch time, and how he isn't a great second option for Iverson. Why would they want him back? Glenn Robinson isn't even playing this season so obviously the Bucks would have made this move to get some cap relief. Even if they get their 14 million in cap, Van Horn is a great fit for the team. The Bucks are a great shooting team. A lineup of a helathy Mike James, Redd, and Van Horn is absoultely lethal. You also have players like Joe Smith who can shoot the medium range jumper very well. Unless the plan for the Bucks is trying to tank this season, there is no point in getting Robinson. The Bucks are not even out 8th place from the division. With their injuries killing them in the begining of this season, so many people are forgetting that they made the playoffs last season. Many were expecting them to fail and go lottery last season but, it showed what great a coach they had and what kind of heart their players had. They managed to do this with Tim Thomas still around. Pretty remarkable don't you think? Again, I think Milwaukee should not make this trade unless they are trying to rebuild which I doubt.
I think Milwaukee would do this to get more money in the offseason....Could be a good move for both teams...
I'd do this in a heartbeat. We get rid of another year of putz Van Horn and get cap room in the offseason to help us sign Redd and possibly some others. Van Horn is contributing about what Robinson is for the Sixers, so its really no loss there. From Saturday's Milwaukee Journal Sentinal: Rumor season: With less than two weeks left until the Feb. 24 league trading deadline, rumors are everywhere. A TNT report on Thursday said the Bucks and 76ers were considering a deal that would bring forward Glenn Robinson back to Milwaukee and send Van Horn to Philadelphia, where he played during the 2002-'03 season. Van Horn is the Bucks' highest-paid player and is under contract through the 2005-'06 season, when he will make $15.7 million. The 32-year-old Robinson, who has not played for Philadelphia this year, is owed $12 million this season but is not under contract for next season. The Bucks might be tempted to clear some room under the salary cap so they can make additional moves in the off-season or sign guard Michael Redd to a long-term deal. Redd, who will be a free agent at the end of the current season, also has been the subject of intense trade speculation. Harris said he expected to have numerous conversations with other NBA general managers in the next two weeks, but he stressed that he will not respond publicly to specific trade talk. "It's that time of year, and there will be a lot of conversations throughout the whole league, no doubt about it," Harris said. "But I cannot comment on trade rumors." Link-Bottom of the Page
