The Kings definitaly got robbed at the end of the game against Dallas. With the kings up 1,Cuttino Mobley made his way to the basket and attempted to bank in a layup that Eric Dampier swatted away AFTER the ball had touched the backboard.Jason Terry went to the basket at the other end and made a layup while getting fouled and making the following freethrow. This was a 5 point swing which was the result of a (another?) no call which cost the Kings the game. This call is actually obvious unlike the "no call" against Pheonix.Wish I knew where to find a clip of this ridiculousness so I could post it in here.

Agreed. I can't believe they got screwed AGAIN. This is ridiculous. It makes me not want to watch any NBA games and go protest in front of Arco. Then, when the players go to say something about it, they get suspended and fined. When is this crap going to stop? If you screw up in the workplace, you get in trouble, why should it be any different for referees?

Apparently it was "Bad Officiating Night" in the NBA. A bunch of teams got screwed. My condolences to the Kings and their fans, it was a clearly goal tending and it cost them the game. The messed up part was how they called the foul for Finley(?) on the other end of the court right after the missed goal-tend. I applaud Sacramento for not causing a riot after being cheated twice in a row.

Yea I saw that there was some other crap calls (Bruce Bowen getting away with anything he wanted) I don't know what anybody can do. And of course there was no riot, what do you think we are, Detroit fans? [IMG]

I guess the question is can the Kings put their opponents too far behind for the officials to try and steal the game at the end :suspicous

went to reno for the weekend & watched this game from the sports book where I was saying. there were quite a few Dallas fans that were also there and even they were embarassed about that lack of call.
Pretty bad when your own fans dont want to accept a win because of how obvious the bad call was.
Just backs up my earlier comments about the bad officiating going around the league nowadays.

That was a BS call man. And the fact that a game we shoulda won only added to our losing streak isn't comforting. I wish we could get a little bit of the NFL in basketball and let the coaches be able to challenge calls---without being ejected lol.

I dont know if that is such a great idea. It is going to wind up causing issues that dont exist now.

If the idea of instant replay is something that is going to be looked at, the only real idea that can pass any kind of serious test is going to be one that only takes the last minute of the 4th into account and only if the score differential is less than say 6 pts. Each coach is allowed to call a time out at which point they can request the review and the review will only last as long as the called timeout. call a 20 second? you get a 20 second review. call is overturned, you get your TO back, call is upheld you are charged the TO.

but really, instead of trying to make drastic changes like this, wouldnt it be better to fix the actual problem of bad refs making bad calls? that is really the path that should be taken long before anyone tries to monkey with any instant replay ideas or otherwise tinkering with the system.
