Unbelieveable. 2 60 Point performances in about a year. He shot nearly 50% from the field, and dropped 24 of 27 FT's. Ridiculious. Can't wait to see the highlights from the game [IMG]

For anyone who saw it, did he have any chance to get 62...or did he hit the 60 point mark with less than a minute left or so.

Iveron had an unbelieveable game today. He should look to back it up with another great game in his next game, like he did with the 50 point games. Good win to the Sixers aswell.

Thats RIDICULOUS!! The boy is on fire!!! That now sets a new career high for him and that is just outstanding. If he keeps this up and they keep winning the MVP trophy will be his!! I don't supposed anyone happened to have a dvd recorder and record the game??? I would pay to get a copy of that performance!!!!!!

I don't care whether the Sixers magically lose more games than the Hornets! Iverson is the MVP!!!!!!

Banks, he could've gotten 62, he took a 14 foot jumper and missed it near the end of the game, he had 60 with close to a minute left.

It's funny though that many said he wasn't a top 20 player anymore, I know I felt he wasn't a top 10 player anymore after last season, but he's defintely making a case for himself.

Injuries sure can do a lot of things:

Iverson not a top 20 player anymore
Grant Hill will be at most a role player coming back [though his was more justified]
Webber won't be able to produce anymore
Jason Kidd won't be able to maintain the high level and be able to carry a team

.... I guess it's Jamal "I'm basically retired" Mashburn's turn to show everyone

Iverson is getting close to averaging 30 points and 8 assists, and if he can do that and get Philly over .500, he can be an MVP candidate.

I believe he had a chance to get 62 but his shot fell short, no question he was tired at that time. He hit the 60 point mark from the line.

What a game, the fans were so into it when he had a chance to get 60 and they went crazy when it happend. Not only did A.I have 60 but it was a nice win for the Sixers, not that anybody cares because A.I had 60.

I'll definetely watch SC. 60 points is amazing for anyone to score. If there ever was a case for him being MVP the scoring tear he's been on is definetely it.

I hope he gets the MVP this year. Mcgrady was doing the same thing 2 years ago and I felt he shouldve been mvp that year but he wasnt. Maybe if he keeps this up he could make Hall of Fame

I don't think their's a player who's been MVP and not made the HOF, so Iverson was basically set to make the HOF after scoring titles, and an MVP award.

AI is truely an amazing player, what a performance. I will have to watch the highlights of this somewhere. Sportscenter should have It I'm sure. The impressive thing to me is the 6 assists, thats alot of assists to get when you are pouring in 60 points

    props.

Man all 6 of his passes went for assists lol. I gotta say, this has got to be the one and only shooting under 50% from the field while scoring 60 ever. Yeah he had a great game but damn, I can't get over the fact he still shot under 50%. Sorry, it's just damn I didn't think that was possible.
