    Preview
Sacramento comes into Boston where they haven't had the greatest of success recently. Well, I'm pretty sure they lost to the Celtics 2 years ago there. Anyways, this game should be up and down, run and gun, offense and offense. Both teams will be looking to get up and down the floor.

The Kings are obviously a better put-together team at this point, so logic points towards a Sacramento victory. I don't think it will be the game that most expect, though. The Celtics have a lot of young talent. Talent that is capable of winning any game against any team. Also, if my memory serves me correctly, these two teams always have a great game when they play. We'll see.

    -Prediction-

Sacramento will have an off night, and the Celtics will continue to climb above .500. I can dream, can't I?

Yeah, I heard about the great refereeing. I honestly think the Kings are going to win this game, but I'm required to pick the local team no matter who they play.

Another close game and this time the Kings win.Even without Peja and despite Lafretnz going nuts.Webber had ANOTHER triple double.Third one in Four games? Not that it bothers me that much but how can you justify leaving out an all star level player from the all star game who gets player of the month?Evans also had a really good game, shooting well from everywhere. In my prediction i predicted if the game was close the Kings would lose because of a "block".I was wrong. However,I have a theory as to why this is.In the previous 3 games the Kings were either shorthanded or were at the wrong end of a questionable/bad call and they lost.In this game Peja only played 5 minutes which constitutes being shorthanded. So the refs went to the boston locker room at half time and said something like "look guys, theyre shorthanded so david stern thinks it might be fair this time if we dont allow goaltending at the end of the game." You think?

It was a very sloppy game. Boston let Bibby get loose late in the game and they paid for it. CWebb had another good game proving that he should, in fact, be an all-star. I don't think Sacramento deserved a win tonight, but they'll certainly take it. I hope Peja gets better, and I hope the Kings can forget about the last 5 games.

Webber shot 30% and had 5 turnovers, I'd hardly say that's a guaranteed All-Star spot.

Hey, how about the fact that he had a triple double with 3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter? Sure, he had a bad shooting night, something that happens to all players. It's his ability to make an impact in other facets of the game that makes him such a dynamic player and makes him worthy of an all star spot.

hey... Ill spot the entire roster with 10 TO's for each player if they are all going to put up triple doubles.

fact remains, it doesnt matter if so much if you have a low shooting % and abnormally high turnovers for one night, Webber has been pretty outstanding during the first half of the season and playing much better than some that were selected to start in the all star game.
you can really make the arguement either way for the western conf's 4's that are playing in the all star game. but you can also make a good arguement for Webber as well.
its all a popularity contest and as such really means absolutely nothing to me. Once the all star game is based on what you actually did in the first half of the season, then I'll start caring about the selection process.
