The Most Overpaid Players

I don't know -- I haven't done any analysis -- but this could be for two related reasons. One caveat: We didn't list players who are collecting paychecks for not playing at all -- your Eddie Robinsons and Scottie Pippens. Only players who've put in some reasonable amount of playing/bench time.</div>

i think Rose should be 10....KVH makes the same and produces less. And they're about equal in their defensive abilities or lack there of. I dont think Spree is #1 at all...he has the second best stats of the 10 named and he's not the highest paid or even the second highest paid. Allan Houston is #1, Brian Grant #2 and Dale Davis #3 sounds right. Dikembe deosnt belong on the list since most of his money was a buyout.

 

Allan Houston should be number one with a bullet.

Allan Houston and Brian Grant are the worst in my mind.

Watch the 2000-01 season Mutombo and you'll see why.
Mutombo has a new contract so he doesn't get 14 millions like he used to.

Latrell shouldn't be number one. He isn't overpaid the man has a family to feed

 

You guys are knocking Houston but he has shown us on many occasions when he is healthy, he will produce. Once he regains his form, I think you guys will regreat yourselves.

LOL Tim "The Idiot" Thomas is on the list, dang sorry for you Knicks fans. I really never realized how much Grant made that is amazing that a team would be willing to pay him that much. FOr how much the Lakers are paying he should be out on the florr a little longer. Wow Davis is getting paid over 10 mil a year to average less than 3 points, 5 boards, and an assist? Somebody needs a reality check.

 

It's crazy how much these players get paid now.

 

Mutumbo is probably the most overpaid, but it really isn't his fault. He was a great player and is a nice backup center right now, but the only reason why he's up there is because New Jersey gave him an incredibly big contract. Blame the GM's for these situations.
