In the wake of various controversies that have rocked the Raptors, including a website story on Friday night reporting that he had a physical confrontation with Vince Carter, Mitchell let it be known yesterday that he is sick and tired of having to answer questions about unsubstantiated rumours concerning alleged incidents that happen off the court. </div> Full Article</div>
It's what happens in Toronto, it's part of the reason our team is so disfunctional when we're not winning, and since he came in the lockout season, all eyes are on him
The media don't you just love it? The real test is seeing if Toronro can bond and become stronger in situations like this or whether they will just falter into the media's expectations. It happens everywhere especially to the losing teams. Good thing he stood up for himself instead of letting the media herb him like that.
I can definitely understand his frustrations. It must be humiliating answering the type of questions that he's being asked..... especially when it's immediately after a loss. I guess this is what happens when we're living in the reality tv era. Real life drama brings increased interest and better ratings so it's no wonder all the Toronto media won't stop talking about the Sam Mitchell soap opera. Add the fact that we suck and there's no hockey, and now it's almost enivitable that Toronto media would blow up drama such as this one.
I'm patiently waiting for the moment when Feschuk asks Sam some dumb-ass question, and Sam stares at him for 2 seconds, and then deliver a Lewis-like punch between Feschuk's eyes. It ain't out of the likelyhood.

Can't really blame him, he's a rookie coach and he retired like what, 3 years ago? I'd be pretty pissed if I were asked those stupid questions too.
