Robinson probably couldn't have fetched any better deal, and the TE could be good to fill out a trade. If you look at when Kerry Kittles was traded for just one second-rounder last summer, this deal is great.
you can keep a TE for up to 365 days(exactly 1 year) on the day you aquire it....look for thos second rounders to be used on oversea's players.
nope, bierdens may still be on the injured list and they will give DD and Foyle most of cliffy minutes, and the rest to Zarko....only way bierdens has a chance of getting off the injured list and seeing PT is if DD gets traded...
Whoa Im really confused... That ESPN article says in it that we (Nets) gave up the draft picks, but the title says the Warriors gave them up. Can anyone clear this up for me?

The article and espn news ticker are both saying the Nets gave up the picks. As for the trade exception and what Mullin will do with it, hopefully he sits on it, unless he's using it as part of a package deal (I'm still thinking about Baron Davis this summer).

Not a big loss as Cliffy looked pretty tired of the small ball lineup and the Warriors basically get to extend the cap space for another year with the trade exception beyond what they would have received if they kept Cliffy until the end of when his contract expired. Now if only they spend it wisely instead of $6M per for a Derek Fisher type....
Now it's up to Mullin to use that trade exception where we can attempt to land some legitimate players. None of this Fisher + Foyle crap.

And those 2nd rounders will probably be junk if they don't have bird rights attached to them. It'll be the same way we lost Gilbert since we couldn't match.
You would not like Kandiman though and those 2nd rounders could be useful for teams looking to add really cheap role players for 2 years. I mean Ginobili was a 2nd rounder, CRob was a 2nd rounder. So maybe that trade will come in handy if some contender wants to give up their first round for two 2nd rounders + cash. I dunno. 2nd rounders will never work for us because of the way the GM's overpay. We'll be so over the limit we can't even sign unrestricted free agents in the offseason.
