right now i really think that the only players that need to be move are jiri(too many guards) googs(he aint helping) and yogy( never see him play) maybe marcus should be move too ( if gary stay , i will like to see more of west and we dont need 3 pg's) my question is who we can get for them and in what way will they help.?????????????????? i had been thinkin and i really think that we need a decent player for the secong unit so he can help ricky cuz ( hes the only one doing good things) my only thought is maybe do a trade with portland and send jiri ,banks and googs or yogy for SAR (sharreef) i think he will help the second unit i dont know if that will affect big al and perk development but i think we need help for the second unit cuz if not i think it will keep hurting us like they had done in some games like ( grizzlies , rockets, kings, ) but they help in some games too but i think we missing a piece for the second unit any ideas ???????????????????
What you'd be looking for is a team that's looking for the expiring contracts. Googs and Yogi are valuable trade bait for that reason. Also, I'm sure said team would love to take on two potential stars in Jiri and Marcus. Tomorrow I'll play around with the trade checker and probably present some potential deals.
#1 Boston trades: PF Tom Gugliotta (1.5 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 0.5 apg in 10.8 minutes) SG Jiri Welsch (7.8 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 1.6 apg in 20.9 minutes) PG Marcus Banks (5.0 ppg, 1.5 rpg, 1.8 apg in 14.1 minutes) Michael Stewart (No games yet played in 2004/05) PG Gary Payton (12.2 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 6.2 apg in 32.8 minutes) Boston receives: PG Marko Jaric (10.5 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 6.8 apg in 34.5 minutes) PF Elton Brand (20.4 ppg, 9.6 rpg, 2.7 apg in 37.7 minutes) Change in team outlook: +4.4 ppg, +3.6 rpg, and -0.6 apg. TRADE ACCEPTED Probably has zero chance of happening, but I guess it's possible. If the Clippers want cap space, they will get it with 3 rather large expiring contracts. C- Kaman PF- Wilcox SF- Maggette SG- Welsch PG- Payton It may not look like an improvement, but it's a better lineup all around, and they will have mucho cap space. #2 Boston trades: SG Jiri Welsch (7.8 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 1.6 apg in 20.9 minutes) PG Gary Payton (12.2 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 6.2 apg in 32.8 minutes) Boston receives: PG Sam Cassell (14.3 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 5.8 apg in 28.1 minutes) PF Eddie Griffin (8.1 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 0.8 apg in 21.3 minutes) Change in team outlook: +2.4 ppg, +3.4 rpg, and -1.2 apg. TRADE ACCEPTED Doesn't get rid of the dead weight, but I think it could work. Griffin gives us a solid rebounding presence, and Cassell will sure up the point guard spot for another year. One more year to develop Marcus and Delonte. #3 Boston trades: PG Marcus Banks (5.0 ppg, 1.5 rpg, 1.8 apg in 14.1 minutes) PF Tom Gugliotta (1.5 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 0.5 apg in 10.8 minutes) C Raef LaFrentz (11.6 ppg, 7.6 rpg, 1.2 apg in 28.0 minutes) Boston receives: PF Tim Duncan (21.2 ppg, 11.8 rpg, 2.7 apg in 34.9 minutes) Change in team outlook: +3.1 ppg, +0.5 rpg, and -0.8 apg. TRADE ACCEPTED This one is to make sure that everybody is paying attention. #4 Boston trades: SG Jiri Welsch (7.8 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 1.6 apg in 20.9 minutes) PF Tom Gugliotta (1.5 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 0.5 apg in 10.8 minutes) Boston receives: SF Mike Dunleavy (12.8 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 2.7 apg in 33.0 minutes) Change in team outlook: +3.5 ppg, +0.8 rpg, and +0.6 apg. TRADE ACCEPTED Is it obvious that I'm a Dunleavy fan? I think both teams might be willing to do this deal.

All it really require is Popovich to have sustained a very serious head trauma.
