    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The best-shooting 3-point team in the NBA?

It's got to be the Suns. With point guard Steve Nash penetrating defenses like a gopher digging holes, guard Joe Johnson and forward Shawn Marion could sit in deck chairs to shoot 3s.

Nope. The Suns are third in the NBA at 38.3 percent.

Then, must be the Sonics. There's Ray Allen, who's had a laser lock on the basket his whole career. And there's Vladimir Radmanovic, who's a guard trapped in the body of a 6-10 forward.

Sorry. The Sonics are second in the league, shooting 38.4 percent.

So who's No. 1? Surprise, surprise, it's the Grizzlies (29-21), hitting 3s at a 38.7 percent clip heading into tonight's game at 7 against the Trail Blazers (20-27) in the FedExForum.

The Grizzlies have seven players shooting 3s at 35 percent or better, led by Mike Miller and Shane Battier, who are ranked sixth and ninth in the NBA respectively at 44.9 percent and 43.3 percent. </div> Source

nice for the grizzles. come to think of it, with a rooster filled with wings and swingmen, the grizzles should be shooting well from outside.
