Hmmm, wouldn't it be interesting if we could convince Flip to come over here. With his massive amount of experience, and a long relationship with Mitchell, it seems like it could be a possibility.

I wouldn't mind having Flip on board.

Flip goes from this year's MVP (Garnet) to next year's MVP (Milt).

In the words of the infamous AllNet:
There's a better chance of Wilt Chamberline coming out of his grave than for Flip Saunders to be an assistant witht the Raptors.

ahha milt.... yes iwould love having him but what would he do? like position on the staff??? we would have to make sam mitchell assistant coach then and move flip to actual head coach. but hold up, doesnt flip have a spot with the T-wolves in like some office job or something??? anyways would be a nice addition nonetheless we would just have to wait and see what babcock does...

I doubt Mitchell would want to be demoted to an assistant coach for the Raptors so Saunders would be stealing his job and he would have nothing to do with the team. Saunders is familiar with Babcock however, so it's possible he could still come to the Raps.

I too wouldn't mind him coming here.... but I see very little reason for him wanting to coach here considering how our organization is becoming a laughing stock.

I don't know. You guys have to think about your future franchise player, Chris Bosh. This would be his 3rd coach in his 3rd year. That is very frusturating and difficult to go through especially with him being like 21 years old.

Why do we want Flip here in the first place? I know he is a solid coach but he hasn't really won anything in his whole coaching career. He has not even gotten past the first round of the playoffs ever. He would bring us more credibility and maybe more sanity but do we really want to pay what he's asking for?

Why would you guys even think about Flip? Changing coaches every year is not the answer to making your team better..that destroys chemistry, you need to build up chemistry..and Flip would not settle for assistant coach when he is one of the top-grade coaches in the league.
