Remember the days of Run T-M-C?
Or battling the Suns with C-Webb and Spree?
The team was headed for a Warrior Dynasty
Now all that's left is a less talented three
Richardson, Murphy, and a struggling Dunleavy

But credit to the fans, that still cheer...
Who eat the stale dogs and drink the flat Coliseum beer...
But don't they deserver better than "Maybe next Year?"

    I'm speechless on this one.

Oh, but on subject, nice poem. [IMG]

Ode to my 4th quarter thoughts:

    They sure can blow leads
    Oh, sweet sassy molassey
    They did it again

I haven't been to a Warriors game the last two years, but I guess the beer selection has improved. I just remember paying around $8 or $9 for watered down MGD.

At Staples they have sushi and krispy creme doughnuts along with the traditional stadium food. They have a lot alcohol selection as well. Some of the worst Nachos though. [IMG]

Glad you & J-Rich23 enjoyed the poem.

By stadium prices, that's a nice deal.

I hate the Lakers more than ever! I take pride in your bad nachos!

Don't front on the Krispy Cremes. People in the Bay Area travel miles to Union City to get their hands on one.

I'm in withdrawl. A much healthier withdrawl, but still.

Thanks Smoke [IMG] Shape, thundarosoh, gswscruff, zhone, and wtwalker. All good stuff [IMG] And here's my new epigram styled poem, props to poets John Dunne, Ben Jonson, William Blake and Robert Frost.

The two thousand Allstar game in Oakland, was really a sight to see
Cuz Cohan got booed in front of his kids live on national TV

Again, the W's won't make the playoffs, nobody knows when
The years we've missed the playoffs has risen to higher than ten

The owner won't talk to his customers, he's a phantom that nobody sees
That's why fans carry torches n' pitchforks, burning up Cohan effigies.

cohanday was a while ago, the groundhog popped out his head
Until he announced Mullin as "GM", people thought he was dead

Fans witnessed a "playoff team" that was less than bonafide
Just like the Taliban in Afghanistan, again the owner decides to hide

Warrior fans want more than hope and the continuity needed to win
The organization teases its fans before heading into a tailspin

The new era of Warriors will certainly put fans to the test
In the meantime, Cohan goes back to what he's doing best

^I'm starting to like Dunleavy, so I'm sort of taking your side. My only criticsm of him is that he hasn't lived up to his expectations and is soft
