Fort back, and no Murphy. We should at least win the rebounding battle comfortably. Hopefully there's no let down after last week.

^The thing that will kill you guys will be Dunleavy vs. Reggie Evans. Evans will have a lot of trouble catching up with Dunleavy

Dunleavy murdered us last time because Ray can't play defense.

But without Cliff Robinson, the Sonic Killer, this is offiicially the first game of the season I predict the Sonics to win.

Wow,Ronald Murray is INCREDIBLE! Other than a few highlights on espn, most people dont get to see him play.Late in this game you knew every time he touched the ball that hed go to the basket and he did.Completely predictable and it didnt matter. Why he gets so little playing time,I have no idea.Warrios played well, but all in all id say this was one of those flukey games considering the circumstances.

Very disappointing loss for the Supes especially considering the long lay off for All-Star weekend. It kinds of puts a bit of a damper on our first half of the season losing two consecutive games against inferior opponents at home.

Flip played decent in the fourth. He showed everyone that he can get a high percentage shot off at will but he still needs to do more to make the Sonics really look foolish for not playing him. Had we won I would be estatic but considering that he did make some minor mistakes, I'm not overly excited about his performance.

I'm sure that someone will make reference to him missing all of his jump shots or getting a five second violation on the sideline, but the bottom line is it's amazing that a deep bench player becomes our go to guy down the stretch of this game when we have two other All Stars on our team. Get used to that b/c that is how it's going to look in the postseason.

None of this years' games against GS have been easy - even the 19pt win at home was a struggle until the 4th.

I think this is a case of the Supes just not matching up well - they have no one who can stay in front of Claxton and a couple physical bigs who get to the glass over our smallish frontline.

GS shot very well and made some tough shots down the stretch so you have to give them credit.

The disappointing thing was watching our All-Stars basically leave for Denver a day early.

He can score for sure, but he did not really defend on Fisher's threes... [IMG]

Hey good game, even though it must have been frustrating for the Sonics fans, imagine it 10X more frustrating for the Warriors fans every single game and the defense a lot worse. Also for some strange reason, the Warriors manage to be really competitive on national tv. It must be because Jrich is such a showboater, he loves the spotlight.

He missed all his jump shots.
That was a stupid five second violation.
    What was nate smoking?
    He played like a rookie.
    We lost.
Bury him back on the bench.
If he is going to be our go to guy in the post season, we should start tanking now to get a better draft pick.

Murray is the wrong guy for this team. Finding a way to jack up 14 shots in 17 minutes is NOT what got the sonics the record they currently have. Murray definately has talent, but he calls his own number way too often, and he isn't able to play the team oriented basketball the sonics are having success with.

We all know what flip is capable of, but Right now he is trying to do too much to try and regain some of his playing time. And as Shiek has stated in the past, when given limited minutes flip struggles but when given significant playing time he is successful.

Take my word for it, flip will have a much larger role when the postseason rolls around. I agree that Murray doesn't fit in with this teams style of play but he brings another dimension to the team that will be needed come playoff time, the ability to create his own shot.

He is shooting 38% with virtually no assists. What good is creating a shot if you can't get the ball through the net, and you won't pass it to a teammate that can?

Ask Ray on one of his off nights, he'll tell you.

Fair enough, but do you actually think they are in the same league, Ray and Flip? (ok the NBA ya ya - you know what I mean)

BTW, what is j00? I have seen it quite a few times browsing this site.
