http://www.thestar.com/NASApp/cs/ContentSe...tacodalogin=yes Good Riddance, he's a coward playing the pf/c; can't have that i say donyell for kwame brown
It would suck if he was traded..but he has been here for a while, and done good things, so if he wants the trade let him have that. What gets to me is.. AW and EW are wanting trades already..jeez you've been here 2 months..
I personally would hate to see Donyell go. But he isnt being utilized to his full potential in Toronto. He's become more of a 3pt specialist rather than the inside presence he used to be in Utah. I wish he would stay, but I guess he's not in the Raptors long term plans. The Raptors main problem is rebounding and defence, Mitchell really needs to cut down his rotation to a set number and just work from there. Raptors are probably one of the only teams that ive seen play almost all of their players in every game. If they can get something for Both Aaron and Eric Williams, Lamond Murray, Donyell and maybe Jalen, they should do it. We need some guards on the bench and some fresh young legs that wanna run.
Marshall has to be traded.....keeping him would be a mistake. He wont resign, so if the deadline passes and he's still here we get nothing. I'd consider a Kwame for Yell trade....but i dont think so...we dont need another PF as much as we need a center, pg and swingman than go both ways
The title of this thread is misleading..... reading it, I was under the impression that Marshall actually stated that he doesn't want to play here anymore. All the article says is that Babcock is actively shopping Marshall around which isn't anything new. But I'm pretty sure Marshall doesn't want to play here anymore..... it's not necessary for him to say a word about it b/c it's understood at this point. For Marshall, we should be looking to get either draft picks or young talent...... hopefully Babcock can make up for his previous trade blunder.

I didn't catch the part where his agent was pushing for a deal. But I don't see why his agent would be pushing for a trade. It's pretty obvious that Babcock's trying his best to get a deal for him before the deadline

Dunksworth is right IMO, I found the title very misleading. I read the article this morning and din't see it like Marshall doesn't love us anymore. I am sure that agents always ask for trades a head of time, well before a player will publicly say he wants to be. But its no surprise that Marshall wants out. Its better for both the organization and Marshall if we trade him before the break. I mean his contract is up, so why not trade him?
Well, you guys would be getting 5 million in cap room. Also I think you should just keep him. You guys aren't going to get anything much more than mid 20's 1st rounders. I think Babcock should just take his time. If he rushes he might make a move he might regret.
Man...i'm still SO PISSED about drafting Arujo. I think we're the only team that'd do something stupid like that and pass up Igoudala. That guy's really something. If we make a trade for Kwame....what the hell did we draft Arujo for.
I don't think it was that bad. Iguodala is like a small forward swing man. At that time, Carter didn't want to leave, and the Raptors were in need of getting a big man. I don't think we can blame him too much.

I think he wants a trade, but I understand why. He is a great role-player, who puts up great stats with 25-30 mpg. But with Chris Bosh at starting PF we can't give him those minutes. So its really tough.
