Hey Guys: I was talking to Voodoo Child about this and I also talked to UKownstheSEC about it and they both liked it so here is the idea: I was reading an ESPN Insider article about possibly bracket busters for the NCAA's and I talked to UKOwnstheSEC via AIM and asked him what he thought about having the 'College Ranking' people from Justbball put together an article, all of us picking a different team about our potential bracket busters. I don't know how the teams would be assigned, either Voodoo Child would assign them to us, or we can have some sort of a draft system. We would all write about a paragraph each about our assigned team and put them all together to make an article. The article would not only open discussion about bracket busters in the college basketball forum, but it would also give JBB members who might be filling out their brackets in March some insight on who we think will upset some teams as Nevada & Alabama did last year. It's just a thought... -Court
Yeah, I love the idea, Courtking. I think there are 10 of us that do rankings, and at the end of the season, we could all be assigned a team that finished in the top 10 and try and convince the others on why we think they'll win it all... It should be fun to see how it turns out!
So bascially, we'll be writing a paragraph or two on who we think will be a sleeper or upset team in the NCAA's? If so, I'm totally diggin' the idea. Sounds pretty sweet. I'm up for it.

Haven't decided yet...
I like both ideas, and maybe who will emerge as this year's Cinderella story. I wouldn't mind doing a piece on Nevada, I think they are underrated and the clones at ESPN are sleeping on them. If you guys need any help just let me know.
I would really like to see some more intake on this idea from the other College Ranking members, I really like it.
Before we get this going, I need to know what you guys would support more... Bubble Watch or Bracket Busters?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Voodoo Child:</div><div class="quote_post">Before we get this going, I need to know what you guys would support more... Bubble Watch or Bracket Busters?</div> I would much prefer bracket busters personally. I think it's more interesting to see what teams people think could make noise in the tourney instead of what teams might or might not make it.

Bracket Busters I would say. It's a lot easier than bubble watch. Bracket Busters can help a lot of people out when filling out brackets.
The thing is that the tournament is not set. So if you're going to write about a Bracket Buster, then make sure that it's a team that's a lock for the tournament. You don't want to look like an idiot by writing an article about how a team that didn't make the tourny will make noise in the tourny.
I say we do both, there's enough time to track the bubble watch, and once the tourney is set, we can talk about bracket busters.
