Hey every body, I was wondering if people would like to rank the Rookies by position, cause I think that'd be cool. I'm gonna divide PG in half cause, honestly, there are 2 seperate breeds of pg now that aren't related
Pure PG 1. Jameer Nelson 2. Chris Duhon 3. Royal Ivy
Shooting PG 1. Ben Gordon 2. Devin Harris 3. Sebastien Telfair
SG 1. Andre Igoudala 2. Ben Gordon 3. Tony Allen
SF 1. Luol Deng 2. Trevor Ariza 3. Josh Smith
PF 1. Dwight Howard 2. Al Jefferson 3. Anderson Varajo
C 1. Emeka Okafor 2. David Harrison 3. Nenad Krystc

If anyone disagrees i wana know why, thanks,
    K-Bob

That looks like a pretty awesome list actually. I would also think that there should be an honourable mention section that is not by position so you could add people like Matt Bonner from Toronto, Josh Childress of Atlanta and JR Smith of the Hornets. Other than that, a very nice compilation of players on the list. Good job!!

I disagree Chris Duhon should be higher then Jameer Nelson and Sebastian Telfair is a pure point guard he dosent really look to score that was only in Hiigh school and Ben Gordon definatly cant run a team.I would take Josh Childress over Tony Allen. Nenad Kristic is better then David Harrison

Swift has hardly played this season [IMG]
Also I think Varejao don't belong there...he had his moments but all-inall he hasn't done much. I prefer (of course) Collison over Varejao any given moment!

Had his moments? Varejao became a constant rotation player for the Cavs when he was healthy, he's leading rookies in Rebounds per 48 minutes [6th in league], is 4th in Blocks per 48 minutes, is 6th in steals per 48 mins [18th in league], and leads rookies in Efficiency per 48 mins.

    Varejao - 4.4 points | 4.6 rebounds | 0.73 steals | 0.83 blocks | 54.5% FG | 2.1 fouls | 13.7 mins

    Collison - 4.7 points | 3.9 rebounds | 0.40 steals | 0.52 blocks | 51.8% FG | 3.0 fouls | 14.3 mins

He's outperforming him in everything but scoring while playing less minutes, and also fouls a lot less, at Collison's rate he'd foul out in 28 minutes of play while Varejao would in 40 mins.

Those statistical differences aren't so different to tell who is the better player (statistically alone). Statistics doesn't reflect players defensive ability. Collison has so far had huge stops in defensive end when he is needed.

I said that I'd take Collison over Varejao, not that he is a better player. I just like Sonics and I have followed Collisons career since he got drafted and I was very sad that he missed last season. All in all I have great hopes about this young man and I think he fits perfectly into Sonics rotation!
