What Chungster said got me thinking. Why don't we GTA fans all get together and go to that April 15th game? We could definitely get group tickets, and boo the hell out of Vince. Just an idea, tell me what you guys think.
Great game by Jalen! 12/15 Donyell was solid, in possibly his last Raptor game, 3/5 FG from beyond the arc. 11 Rebounds. Bosh was wicked with 16 and 12. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Trip:</div><div class="quote_post">What Chungster said got me thinking. Then booing Carter like no tomorrow.
^^ Then you just have no life ... LOL 100 Signs? I agree with the booing.. maybe throwing things haha lol maybe not... but 100 SIGNS?! you gotta be mad..
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Chungster:</div><div class="quote_post">Me and my friend already ordered tickets for that game so I'll be excluded from that idea </div> We'll find you and give you a lot of those posters. Have fun.
I'm not for the booing Vince thing, since he's my fav player of all-time. I'm going to that game and will be cheering for Vince when hes introduced, but will cheer for my Raps of course Rose with another big game, he actually played pretty decent D today on Vince. Nobody on the Nets can guard Rose except Carter, but Rose can school anyone when he wants. How bout his reaction after the dunk? I don't even have to say anything about Milt. One phrase somes it all up, "Milt For M.V.P.!"
Great win by the Raptors. I love this quote by Jalen at the end of the game: "He probably was a little tired from All-Star weekend. While he was running up and down the court throwing it off the backboard, I was laying on the beach drinking a fruity drink with an umbrella,'' Rose said. ``So I probably gave myself an unfair advantage on that one.'' BTW did anyone else know that Bosh is the third youngest player to reach 1000 rebounds in the NBA? The other players were KG and T-Mac.

Also Leo and Chuck were kinda dumb today, they focused more on nitpicking at everything Vince did than they did on the actual game. Leo said Vince in about every sentence he spat out the whole game, it was pretty dissapointing after a while, my brother was like okay Leo, we get the point, their's a game going on here that doesn't only involve Vince.
^I agree. Vince pretty much put Toronto on the map in terms of basketball. To act like he hasn't done anything for the franchise is pretty horrible. I think if it wasn't Vince we might have ended up like the Vancouver Grizzlies without bball in Toronto. It's not like we should retire his jersey like Jalen was saying postgame but we should give him a little bit of respect. But he did leave on a bad note, which totally deserves a good booing. The way he left and played career ball in New Jersey will always stand out in our minds. Toronto fans have every right to boo him but I just hope they don't forget that he's a big reason why Toronto has such a great fan following.
Wow, that 360 was amazing. Vince must have had a 90% average in school. There's no way you can think of doing that especially during the spur of the moment. If Vince never was a Raptor, the Raptors would have lost bad. It seemed like they wanted to send a message to Vince by playing extra harder which is probably why the Nets got owned.
^I don't think it had anything to do with Vince. They needed a win over anyone, doesn't only have to be Vince. Raptors would have lost bad if Vince never played for Toronto? That is complete rubbish.

Did you also notice when Vince did the 360 layup all Chuck said was something like, "Vince with a layup" and that was it. I just couldn't help but laugh cuz you know that if it were any other player in the league, Chuck would've gone nuts. As for the game, well it looks like my prediction of Raps losing by 12 and VC getting 45 points was just a little bit off . Man, that was just a terrible game for Vince. His defense was non-existent and he took way too much off balanced shots. It looked as though all he tried to do the whole night was make it to the highlight reel (which he did succeed to do with his 360 layup, but that's not the point). I'm guessing he was either partying way too much in Denver over the weekend or maybe he just decided to revert his game back to his final days as a Raptor. Anyways, outstanding game from Jalen, and Milt proving once again why he's getting league MVP considerations. I don't know if anyone else noticed but this could've also been Donyell's final game as a Raptor, so it's good to see that he too had a good performance.
Wasn't Chungster a fellow Raptors fan not too long ago? Oh wait I'm sorry!! He was Vince's fan so he switched boat to New Jersey Nets. Shame on you. And please, don't tell me you are Korean with that Lee Hyo Li avatar, because I'll be ashamed as a fellow Korean-Canuck.
Vince this, Vince that...who cares!! He's gone and thank god! Raps won, Jalen played like a monster so did Bosh and Donyell. Aside from the fact that Donyell will be traded sometime this week, I would love to see him stay as a Raptor. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Actually I said the Raptors would win when Vince was a Raptor, and now I'm saying the Nets would win since Vince is a Net. Vince deserves to be booed IMO, at least on his first return to Toronto. After all the controversy that has arose after he left the team, and the way that Raptors fans feel that they were cheated out of a fair deal for Vince because of his bad play prior to the trade. He is basically the main reason we're at where we are now. Maybe a few seasons from now, people will once again gain respect for him and what he's done for the franchise, but not on his first return.
Wow, every Raptor fan hates me now. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting VinKanaddy:</div><div class="quote_post"> And please, don't tell me you are Korean with that Lee Hyo Li avatar, because I'll be ashamed as a fellow Korean-Canuck.</div> Yeah, I'm Korean. You cannot guage VC's game through the nightly round-up on TSN. For anyone who didn't see the game last night, you look up and see Vince with a 22 point effort, a couple of highlight plays and you think "Hey, pretty good game". What happens when you see that entire contest is that you witness VC spending the night playing half-assed defense while talking any manner of off-balance shots and avoiding any and all contact. When VC picks his spots and gets dropped into the nightly highlight reel you make the assumption that he has spent the night attacking the rim and making daring, acrobatic forays to the hoop on every attempt. The reality is that the highlights you've seen are probably the only times where Vince has endeavored to break a sweat I thought that I would see a pre-2001 VC last night based on everything that I had read. I didn't and the guy playing looked an awful lot like the slacker I remembered for the last couple of years Have fun..................

Vince wasn't in the game mentally last night, I've watched a lot of Nets games since he's been there because for some reason the stations here like to show them a lot, and this was probably his worst game. He did get to the line 10 times, but he wasn't really in the game, maybe he was trying to not seem good so the Raptors vs Vince hype dies down
