<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Early in the season, it appeared that the third week in February likely would mark Eddy Curry's last days as a member of the Bulls. Back then, dealing the 6-11 center before the Thursday trade deadline seemed like a good idea for all parties involved.

But with the Bulls' dramatic turnaround and Curry's rapid development, the chances of general manager John Paxson dealing the 22-year-old are virtually nonexistent.

That's fine with Curry, who said after practice Monday that he wants to remain with the Bulls -- not just the rest of this season, but well beyond this summer, when he can become a restricted free agent.

''Me and coach [Scott] Skiles have a good relationship, and at this point I don't see myself wanting to go someplace else, having to start all over with trying to feel a coach out and having him feel me out and getting used to a whole new system,'' Curry said. ''I really want to come back and hope everything goes well over the summer and we're able to do it.''</div> Source

    Paxson

Reportedly the Bulls are goin to resign Chandler and Curry because of the Bulls surprisingly good play this season.

I agree with signing both of them, no sense in breaking them up if they're doing this good. Only thing is I hope Curry has found his passion and work ethic with Skiles so he doesn't slouch when the money comes. Otherwise Skiles will sit him and we'll be bound by his contract. I'm sure that won't happen but there's always that possibility. I think Curry has found some fire with all this winning of this season.

I want to see both of them return. They've both been big parts of the team this year, one for offense and one for defense. If we can get both of them back, that'd be huge for the orgainization because, if this team can be kept together, they will be good for a very long time.

If they both re-sign, do you think that will give us a problem when it is time to re-sign Gordon, Hinrich, and Deng in a few years?

Also, isnt Duhon only on a 1 year deal?

Sorry, just not to good with all the details of contracts and the salary cap and such

Depending on contract size, it shouldn't give us too much of a problem. By the time that comes around, we'll be freed of Pippens, Davis', Nocioni's, Pargos (I think), Frank Williams', and I think there are probably some others. But, they shouldn't have too much of a problem as long as they don't dish out an outrageous amount of money for each person.

I see Chandler out there, working his butt off. I still question if Chandler is more valuable than Curry. If we can lure Tracy McGrady or Ray Allen here, before signing Curry, Curry becomes very expandable.

I am still not sold on Curry.
