The first game back after the All-star break, the Magic get clobbered by the Indiana Pacers at home 108-84. I wasn't able to catch the game and I just saw the boxscore and was wondering why we played this bad. Turkoglu, Jameer and Hill were the leading scorers and the only people in double digits. I sure hope we can bounce back and at least win 1 out of the 2 against the Heat.
Steve Francis missing practice is what happened. I posted an article, and it said Francis was so out of it he couldn't even see. When your first option shoots 2-10 from the field and 2-5 from the line to go along with 4 turnovers in only 29 minutes, you're usually going to get blown out.
^shapecity, we know about Francis, sportsrock himself posted a similar article just below Francis wasn't the only one, Hill was horrible as well at least at the beginning, he started with something like 0-5. And Dwight got into foul trouble early. We had a poor first quarter, they as well, but they closed the second quarter with a 17-0 run and that was it, they had more energy and played better defense I guess.
He wasnt out of it that he couldnt see, that was just a metaphore to show the example that he was shooting badly. But then again we saw francis hit a game winner this season, despite awful shooting all night, so its part of the package. he gives you 78 great games and 4 terrible games.
