Are we going to do any deadline moves? I am really hoping that we can dump DD and Fisher for someone like Michael Redd or Shareef Abdul Rahim. What do you guys think will happen?

I realy hope that Mullin will do something with DD, because that Biedrins is done for good if he stays. At this point 2nd round pick at 2010 year would be worth something...
It is not like Dale is emty sapce in this league, and he showed great game vs Sonics, but there is no point to figth for worse draft position. Flores, Biedrins and Pietrus should get some solid minutes now.

Good way to put it Hipokrat. The only reason I want to trade DD is because Biedrins will be able play more. DD is good, but in order fro Biedrins to play, bye bye DD!

^ I realy start to like Warriors more and more lately, but at the same time I hate Montgomery and Mullin that they are trying to murder Biedrins career by keeping him on "injured list". One thing is to take it slow but this is starting to get ridiculous, because how long can the kid go on charged with motivation :"Maybe some day soon, if you work hard enough...". Well hi is working hard, and he did not complain, but when I read the intreview when they got Zarko, then his spirit was down allready. He said that he did not hope for any big major minutes this season, but he did not imagine, that they gone ignore him like this.
And if they don't get rid of DD now, that means, that Biedrins is again the "13th Warrior" who is sitting on IJ list, and you have Darko#2 4 sure... It just seams little unfair, because that Mullin promised bright future in NBA for him, and there are rumors, that he faked little injury so that GSW would get 100% chance to draft him, and guy had tears in his eyes in draft ceromony when they called Warriors name, and now that GSW managemnet treats him like that it is just ugly!

I disagree, bierdens is playing basically every day againts foyle, DD, and murphy in practice and he is only 18 years old, he can easily have a 20 year career and they are improving his game. Yes, i do want to see him play a lot the rest of the season, but so far they have done good bringing him in this slowly.....

i don't think it is like "Maybe some day soon, if you work hard enough..." but more like "You are going to get paid the same amount of money through your contract no matter how much you play and we wnt you to be great so lets start of slow with game minutes and slowly increase it..."

I say throw him to the wolves and let him learn on the fly. I mean come on! Dunleavy played more in his rookie season...

If the coaches don't think Biedrens is ready yet he isn't ready. It's like with Pietrus. He has that potential, but he doesn't understand the game that much. He even forgot or didn't know the rule about intentionally fouling somebody before the ball is inbounded. It doesn't get you the ball back after two free throws. It's considered the same as a technical foul after you call timeout after having used all your timeouts.

I think with Biedrens it's more like the fact he's too undersized to play center. He may weigh more than Cliff Robinson, but he doesn't have the strength yet to hold somebody from backing them down.

If Biedrens were to play now, I think our defense would be so much better. But post defense he'd be killed.

CR2, he could still be a very good interior post player, I mean its been a year since we've had one of those and we got a injury prone guy in return..... <under breath> "Mullin" [IMG]

I know that it is tough to be a center in NBA, and players like Biedrins have to do some serious work to start play as center in NBA. Jump from our local league to is NBA huge step, but you have to give few minutes of playing time once in a while, just to keep motivation to keep on working, because hi is not stupid and he knows about Darko case and how Mullin is looking for another tall wonder kid that can shoot, and other stuff... I am afraid that he might slip into some kind of depresion or hopelessness if it's keeps going like this.

^Yup, Mullin is looking for Dirk in a cheap version. He wants Jonathan Bender. But, anyway, Right now is the best time for Andris to start. We aren't going to win, and right now is the best time for him to play, in the end of the year. I really don't want Monty to turn into Larry Brown and Biedrins and Flores into Darkos II and III.....

I don't think Biedrens will be. He's a good kid. Nothing like Darko I don't think.
