Foyle restructuring his contract in the offseason to help the team..I know it doesn't happen as much in the NBA as the NFL but Garnett did it a few years ago for Minn...Why cant Foyle do it for us? Everyone says he's one of the nicest guys in the nba, he gives alot back to the community and doesn't seem greedy for money....He has been given his opportunity to prove himself this year and he has to know he hasn't played worth his contract...how about restructuring to help give this community a good a NBA team for once
^ I think Foyle could do that and he would do it without a problem. If we didn't have to pay Foyle so much it would be nice. However I like Foyle, he is a good weakside defender, good rebounder, can score when he wants to, good offensive rebounder. But just listen to this stat, Foyle is averaging almost a double-double a game when he plays 30+ minutes, so maybe he should play a bit more. However, you cannot renegotiate contracts anymore. That's part of the reason Scottie Pippen hated the Bulls so much when he was with them

Too bad we can't because we're pretty much stuck with Fortson part 2 and Bimbo Coles part 2. Will history repeat itself?
If by some miracle we can keep the people we want to keep and their agents don't get influenced by the contracts paid out last offseason, I can see us keeping a good team together. But since that's not likely to happen we're going to have to choose who to keep and who to let go in the near future. And that's going to be rough because we'll have four big contracts that may or may not be cap friendly depending on the new CBA... Also we're still stuck with a team that's trying to do something it's not designed to do (like play the half court set without any single frontcourt player able to command double teams in the low block or any solid shooters that can matchup well in their position). Montgomery is coaching small ball, something that Eric Musselman probably should be doing right now, but Montgomery is forced to play it because of injuries and the crap that Mullin signed him for inside scoring. We're also a team full of players with no true position. Only Speedy plays a true position it seems. Everyone else is combo guards, power guards, or wing forwards or shooting centers. We need more clearly defined roles for our offense and better team defense or we're never going to move passed small ball and disappointing 4th quarters (It's what Nick Van Exel's been saying last year)... I'm not trying to be negative here, but this is the way it has always seemed. There's no continunity in our rosters from year to year and when we do lock somebody up for a long time, it's usually a stupid contract with no way to get out of it unless we end up giving up more to be rid of it. We have signs of promise, and then things get really bad and the management doesn't know why... I just pray things turn around in 3 years and if they don't, the bay area needs to open up a new ball club with a better owner that is a fan of basketball. Sometimes I think Cohan doesn't even know what the game is all about and because of that he hires clowns that think they do. Not to diss Mullin, but he did make some moves or had influence on moves that could be potentially damaging for the Warriors rebuilding process. Only time will tell of course. Maybe I'm just mad that we'll have 5 more years of Foyle batting the ball to the other team at center and then Fisher hoisting up 3's from the point guard spot. We can't play him at the 2 forever.
You should put name "Darko" in English dictionary: Darko - Young talented player who was drafted in NBA too early and coached by coach who does hates rookies, and is working only veteran players. And with time rookie becomes into Darko kind of guy, who has great unrealized potencial. )

A Blonde haired Eastern European kid whose presence on the court signifies that your team is already getting the crap kicked out of them... by a lot. 2.) A 19 year old 7 footer that breaks his hand on the rim while screwing up an easy dunk 3.) Something that keeps your bench nice and toasty for your veterans
