Moving Van Horn, in addition to the trade of Mike James to Houston earlier Thursday, removes nearly $13 million in salary-cap obligations from the Bucks' payroll next season.</div> ESPN _________________ What are the Bucks doing? James and now Van Horn?
Im also happy to see Van Horn leave... hes been nothing but terrible. What theyre basicly getting for him is MICHAEL REDD to saty with us. Im actually thinking we're gonna be able to keep him. I was still upset to see Mike James go though.
This trade makes my day. What a move my Larry Harris. Getting someone to take the "untakeable" Keith Van Horn. Van Horn was useless this season. He can't play more than 15 MPG now because of his ankles and is due to rack in 16 mil next season. Henderson is a 8 mil expiring, and Booth has a decent contract, but much smaller than Keith's. These two trades will free up lots of cap money in the offseason.
Bucks did cut Alan Henderson. I think that was part of the deal, so Dallas can sign him back. Booth is a solid backup, not much offense, decent rebounder and shot blocker/defender.
