OMG WE SO SUCK!!! 2:51 left in the first quarter and were down 22-8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! **** that shit!!!
WHAT THE ****! If this game continues like this then this season really is over. How embarrassing..... a week break and they cant even handle the stepchildren of LA?!? What the ****?
Yea I dont like what I am seeing, but we finished the quarter on a 8-4 run, and hopefully we can overcome the slow start, and win the game. We are also getting badly outrebounded....again....
I had to turn the game off when it was 24-8. That is embarrising. I really do not know what happened to this team after last year. We were supposed to be so good, but I guess Spree and Sam had other things in mind.
i don't know if to call it picking up but were down 9 at half time. we shouldn't be like that in the first place damn it! *edit second half start's we better win this one or else...were doomed! we were down by 2 not it's 6 in the end of the third...cassell dowing pretty good but KG looks like hell...hope we can pull a W in the last we getting outrebounded every time! 15 fouls! that's a lot! really hope we can do good in the fourth! go go go!
this game looks over for us...what a dissapointment telling ya all...the british played good for us tonight ...hope we will kick some sonics ass today...
Ball Hog, I think its time to stop blaming everything on Sammy & Spree, honestly. Yes they are part of the problem but it goes far beyond just those two guys. The construction of this team is horrible, the roles guys were given on this team were horrible, so they stink. Cassell & Sprewell are being used as a scape goat now for everything that went wrong with this team. How about the fact that the Wolves clearly should not have re-signed Troy Hudson during the offseason? How about the fact that the Wolves werent able to obtain a big body during the offseason, so now they are paying the cost cause they cant rebound and their post defense is among the worst in the league? How about the fact that Wally S was pretty much handed a roll on this team where he was "one of the major contributors", yet he does nothing in big spots? Wally can score points but very few impact baskets. Fred Hoiberg scores way less but way more impact baskets. But his minutes were most effected by the return of Wally cause last year Hoiberg was on the floor in the 4th quarter almost every night. And probably hit the most clutch baskets down the stretch of games behind Sam & KG. Now he is never on the floor, consistently. So I think that there was alot of changes on this team and none for the good. So just to blame the Wolves losing all on Sam & Spree is unfair imo.
Very dissapointing loss. I am so disgusted that it's not even funny. I expected the Timberwolves to come out firing and play very good tonight. I expected a quality win. They did not get it done. They needed to start off the post All-Star break with a 10-game winning streak and they needed to go at 22-5 to finish the season. This loss is not what I had in mind. It amazes me how this team played with no emotion, passion, dedication or anything. This team went through the emotions and just did nothing. This team did not bring it tonight and that's very dissapointing with the season on the line. They have no margin room for error and they could not afford to have this type of a game. They needed to go 3-0 out West. To lose this one is dissapointing. To lose tommorow night would be devestating. If this team start off 3-7 in the next 10 games, might as well end the season and put KG in the injured list. It's crunch time and they came up lame tonight.
i really don't want to talk about this game really awful one...i can only hope we will win seattle like we need to today and LA will lose to the pistons than it wold be 28-28 for us and 28-25 for LA. 3 losses is mangable to cover in 26 games left if we do get in this position....lets stay positive tough it's really tough...the season really aint over untill we get a complite cut out of the off-season...i beileve that once were in there for real even from the 8th or 7th spot-god is great and good things might happend...
LEts give credit to Kandi for almost getting in a fight with a fan as he left the arena its good to see he has learned his lesson from getting stuned twice in indiana.
Good game by the Clips today, Brand was a beast out there, and really did good. Kaman seems to have something against the Wolves, but he had one of his better games in a while, he's been inconsistent lately with his play, but I think the 8 game road trip has something to do with that. The Clippers were 23-23 last time they were home, and went 0-8 on their road trip, while also losing Jaric and Livingston in that stretch, so it's tough. Good win in the game though, everyone played well, and Kaman even got KG to give him a little elbow.
To add insult to losses, Griffin is going to be out for awhile as he went back home to see a hand specialist and The Kandi Man is in crutches. Not that the Kandi Man is a huge loss. Wolves do not need this type of news.
I wonder if mark madson will be brought back sooner? i saw a viedo of Mac coaching before last nights game and madson was playing and looked decent. we just lost two of our centers...with the only two left on our roster right now our Big Ervin and John thomas........hmmmm we might need help at this position.
