Wow, the game is already over and there still isn't a thread? I guess you guys are still giddy over not trading before the deadline huh? Anyways, the Raptors beat the Bucks 106-102, and Bosh was simply unstoppable. Almost everyone turned in good to average games, and no one had a really bad one, even Mo Pete. Could this be part of a playoff charge? Two straight wins to open the post All-Star period. 6 straight wins and we're right back in the heat of the race for the Atlantic crown.
Check out our schedule, I think we can win a considerable amount of games. I see 7 games that will be really tough. But it was a good game. I just wished I could have watched more of it. I was tired after 7 hours of hard work and 3 hours of bball. I managed to see the 1st quarter, and I woke up about 10 minutes after the game was over. From the highlights I saw it was a good looking game, but those are highlights. Bosh put up some great stats.
This was a great game by the Raptors. They played near perfect defence and their offence looked amazing. So many players touched the ball before a shot went up, everyone started to play like a team. I haven't seen them play like that since they won their first 3 games of the season. Bosh was amazing as usual. But the thing that impressed me the most about him was not the 27 points but the 2 critical assists he had in the 4th quarter to Rafer and MoPete. Game Recap <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Reality sets in for NBA players after the trade deadline. Some are energized by the moves that were made. Some are discouraged by the moves that weren't. But the Raptors didn't fit either of those molds last night, as they produced a gutsy 106-102 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks before a sparse crowd of 15,833 at the Bradley Center. The Raptors did not make a trade leading up to the deadline on Thursday, but after beating Vince Carter and the New Jersey Nets on Tuesday, they have won two road games in a row for the first time this season. What has changed? "Confidence. Hustle. And just knowing we can play defence," said Raptors forward Chris Bosh, who was the best player on the court with a game-high 27 points. Bosh also went 11-for-12 from the free-throw line. "We feel that we don't have anything to lose anymore," Bosh said. "If we go out and have each other's backs, what's the worst thing that can happen? That we lose a game when we go down fighting. That's way better than just laying over and waiting until the end of the season." </div> Source: Toronto Sun
I'm sorry guys. I was working on the game thread and I recieved an urgent call, thus I didn't have time to finish it. Anyways, great game by the Raps. As Jack said, they bend, but they don't break.
Good game, Bosh was killing out there. Marshall was in a crazy sho jacking mode today, we're up by like 6, and he takes a three's with less than 2 minutes in the game, and 18+ seconds left on the clock, what's the reasoning in that? Anyways, good win. I think most of our games for the rest of the season are supposed to be on the road, so that's not going to be too fun.
That was the most nerve-wracking game I've seen in years. It was good, though..I think the Raptors are actually starting to realize that if they want to reach the playoffs, they have to work hard. I think their new technique is shutting down the high-scorers in each team - Vince Carter and Michael Redd were shut down and I think that boosts the Raptors' confidence. They should definitely do that to Kobe Bryant on Sunday. I think its an easy game to win anyways.
Coach told the media that they seem to get the game plan better in the last 2 games. So mayb that might be the cause for all this Do I think the Raps can keep it up?...Of Course, Milt will lead the way Will they make the playoff?...NO (like Purple's sig, F U BABS) When will this streak end?..Tomrow..hosting the Lakers.
