Now I don't normally get emotional at all but DAMN..this got to me a little Malik is Truely a class act he got very emotional when talking about his now ex team-mates. Malik Rose Says Goodbye
Great video man. Thanks for sharing with us. Malik is truly a classy guy. I've always liked and I wish him the best inn New York.
That video really was emotional. Even the reporter Don Harris had to fight to keep composure. I keep trying to tell myself that it really was a good trade for the Spurs, but damn I am going to miss Malik. And it looked like he was missed yesterday when they lost here in SA to Memphis. Oh well, maybe history will repeat itself and the Spurs will pull another Sean Elliot move so Malik can win another ring here and then retire a Spur.
Man, this was real deep man. I have never seen a player do this and be so serious about being traded. I can only say this, I have more respect for Mailk now than ever. SA-Town will miss Malik very much.
He's a great man... hopefully he can return. I think the main problem was his contract... that was a big reason in him getting traded.
Nice quality character kind of guy. He is also a good player. I found an interesting stat on him with him: In 31 starts in the past two years, he averages 15.5ppg and 8.5rpg. That's solid especially mostly against the west. Should be a good pick up for the Knicks especially with his defense and exeperience. Btw, Why was he in Pop's dog house? He seems like such a nice guy.

He was sorta going through a slump so Pop tried to get him to back down and stop taking risky jumpers (i.e. be more of a true role player instead of a scorer) but he ignored him and well, cost them some games. At least that was how Pop saw it, so he cut down his minutes a great deal and when the reporters asked Malik questions about it, he sorta just answered truthfully that he was in the dog house. That seemed to make it even worse between him and Pop. Guess he felt ratted on by Malik. That's my take on it. This would make an interesting thread in and of itself: Why or how did things get so bad between Malik and Pop?
