They need to come into this game strong to prove a point. Their legs will be heavy, but they have to play 100% against the Wizards. [*]Set the Pace- It is critical that the Kings set a slow pace for the game, they won't be able to hang with a Wizard team that likes to run. [*]Shut Down the Boards- They can't allow Washington to get 2nd and 3rd chance points, if they do it could turn out to be a long night for the Queens, err Kings.
Washington:
[*]No Peja- Peja is doubtful for the Kings. This is a huge lift for the Wizards, if they can come in and run the Kings to death they should win. They don't have to worry about Peja lurking out at the 3 line and hurting them. [*]No Hughes- Larry Hughes is doubtful for this game. That is a huge loss because with Jarvis "No D" Hayes in the lineup, Cuttino Mobley could have a field day. [*]Antawn- Antawn doesn't show up for every game. This is a game where he must show up, he can't have one of his mediocre shooting nights, the Wizards need him.
Prediction Washington should be able to win this one, they have had a day of rest while the Kings are coming into the second game of a back 2 back. If the Wiz can get out and run, there is no telling how long the Kings can keep up. I take Washington in a good, tight one 106-102. Will we see any Kwame in this one?
very nice preview... but im gonna take sac by 12 in this one... with no hughes.. mobley and bibby are gonna light it up kt and corliss are such a great fit for sac
Thank you, Mr. 8 Ball. You saved me some time on a preview. However, I disagree with you that the Kings should try to slow down this game. Sacramento is now without Webber and Divac. Those two were vital to the Kings' half court game. Without them, I think they need to push the pace more often. The team isn't really made for halfcourt offense right now, especially since Williamson and Thomas haven't worked on any of the sets or plays yet. Kings 109 Wizards 104

I wish I was going to have a chance to watch tonights game, but unfortunatly, it wont be on where I am tonight....
Another great win! Both teams were missing key players.I saw at one point the kings were down 5 with about 4 minutes left and they came back to win,on the road,at the end of a back to back against a good team.I hope Thomas ends up getting most of the minutes at PF.Also, thank you Antawn Jamison for not showing up.
Wow kings... proving the experts wrong... but now theyre starting to say great stuff bout the trade..lmao
