Does anyone see the tandem of BD and Jrich being the best backcourt in the league? I see them as possibly the second, but more likely the third best backcourt. Kidd and VC ( only when Richard Jefferson is back and VC is moved to SG) are the only pairing that I can think of that would be better than BD - Jrich. 1) Kidd - VC 2) Arenas - Hughes 3) BD - Jrich 4) Parker - Ginobili 5) Billups - Hamilton possible top 5: - Terry and Finley - Marbury and Crawford - Jones and Wade - Ridnour and Allen - Bibby and Mobley I left out a bunch of decent or fading backcourts, but in my opinion, these are probably the more complete tandems in the whole league if you count scoring, defense, passing, and the intangibles. Gimme some feedback please
T-mac and Bob Sura. Although T-mac they're playing at small forward, he's really a 2 guard on offense. Bob Sura, except for the low turnovers, he's pretty much a poor, poor man's Jason Kidd without the incredible court sense. Okay below are probably questionable but still one can penetrate and the other guy just has to shoot it Nash, Q-rich (or Joe Johnson) Luke Ridnour, Ray Allen

You can come and go as you please as long as you have that backcourt playing defense. =P
That's why I said backcourt , because we all know the Warriors frontcourt suck at defense. But I wouldnt say Jrich sucks at defense anymore, he's come along way since his first year and proved how much his defense improved by shutting down Ray Allen the last time the Sonics played.

I hate lazy defenders, but Nash is the exception. He's not horrible, he's just mediocre a la Ray Allen/Vince Carter. I've seen a lot worse like umm... Glen Robinson.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting J-Rich23:</div><div class="quote_post">^Or, Murphy</div> Nah, Murphy is not that bad, he's just too flat footed and foul prone when he does go all out. This is the guy that got 5 or 6 blocks each game during preseason... and also 5 or 6 quick fouls. BTW can you please quote the response your posting to, otherwise, somebody can post before you and then in the context of the order the posts are in, what you write doesn't make any sense. So quote messages in replies, thank you. I will try to remember to do the same.

But the thing about Murphy is that he averages 16 points per game and his opponenents just the same when he gaurds them

I love Murphy and all but man, that guy is... to put it nicely, deceptively quick.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting J-Rich23:</div><div class="quote_post">Or when The Red Sox do that, wait... that already happened</div> So it's bound to happen sometime in the in 2061 right? (Red Sox had the 86 year championship drought, last for the Warriors was '75) I definitely hope I'm not dead by then. If cancer or heart disease don't kill me, it will certainly be the Warriors attrocious defense and 6 year, multi-million dollar contracts in the offseason.
