I'm 80% sure he has, sometime in the 2000 or 2001 season.

 

Great accomplishment and a well deserved reward by Carter in my opinion.

 

I really thought vc has won it before, but I couldn't find any under his bio on nba.com, just 'player of the week' awards.

good job to him though. But how does a player win POM, when his team only went 7-6 month (dirk's mavs went 10-3)

 

About him winning one before, no this is his first player of the month award, he's only had player of the week awards before. At least he's not the worst record player of the month guy, that goes to Payton who had a 4-6 record in April of the 99-00 season.
