In what was a classy move by the kid, Al Jefferson gave Antoine Walker back his usual #8, and didn't even ask any money in return. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Players frequently extract gifts or cash for trading numbers, but Jefferson said he was more interested in a basketball tutorial. "I said, 'Take me under your wing,"' Jefferson said. "I'm a good person. It's not all about the money."</div> link It just shows you what kind of person the Celtics drafted. This franchise is in good hands for the years to come.
I would of asked for some cash or something Naw, classy move by the kid. What number does Al were now, I didn't watch the Laker game tonight...disgusted with them...
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Kobe 8 Ball:</div><div class="quote_post">I would of asked for some cash or something Naw, classy move by the kid. He'll probably float some money the kids way anways. Al switched to #7. He wore 25 in high school so 2+5, I guess.
'Toine saying he's going to "take care of him" will probably end up garnering Jefferson something far greater in value than whatever Al had in mind originally.
Well, just judging from the few games that he was on the bench with the ankle injury, Al could be well served if Toine bought him some new suits. Walker bought OB several, so its possible. Remember, Walker hangs with MJ in the offseason and Mike was always stressing to people that you have to look professional, especially on the road. I believe it was Dime who had AW as one of the 10 best-dressed NBA players...
