Why is everybody so high on this guy? He look like darko an inch or two taller.... darko at least played overseas...this guy is only averging 8.8 minutes in EUROPE!! His season highs are four points adn three rebounds.....in seperate games...he couldnt even do them at the same time..... i wouldnt pick this guy he is a wrose version of darko and Pavel Podkolzin... and people are projecting top five [IMG]

He's a kid still man....like 19 or something. He's 7-3 and his being raw is actually good. He can be molded into something great if things go well. Not every team drafts for right now. Detroit didnt need Darko to win the championship, and they still might have a future all star with him, though i'll admit he needs more minutes. He's a project.

[IMG]' wat if Darko is a failure though and what is andriouskevicius will be like that... why don't people like actually see them play a very good game or two before considering him a top 3 pick. I mean hes young, has potential, but you don't know what you will get.. it's likely if u are a bad team and you pick him.. he won't be able to contribute. He should be like a late first round pick.

I want to know the same thing too. I never want to use a lottery on an unproven player. I thought these guys actually got burn where they were from. Wow they are serious projects to work on I mean serious.

Sorry for emotions, but when some experts judge player without seeing a single game, it pisses me off.

Mr wise guy, can you answer how can a player averaging 4.7 ppg have a 4 points record? Andriuskevicius averages 4.7 points and 2.7 rebounds in 9 minutes in Lithuanian League.

Oh you being so big expert of basketball probably just got confused between Lithuanian league and Euroleague, right? Or you even dont know what the difference is between them.

Im not gonna waste my time telling why Martynas plays little minutes or how he looks on court, because you have more knowledgeable man here. You see, I missed one game of Andriuskevicius this season, but Im sure that Mr. Wohl has seen all the games of Martynas so he can tell everything about him. Feel free to ask him, he might say another interesting thing in the future again.

Either way, when your a backup to an American ex-college player not good enough to get an NBA look and are under 10 pt in minor league competition, you're round 2. Still some fool team will likely pick him way too soon

I got it from your first post. Now you've edited it and changed it into "Europe". I know you didnt mean Lithuanian league, but Euroleague. Buts thats the point, I wanted to show that you dont have knowledge about it, because by saying "in Lithuania" you even havent in mind that such thing as Lithuanian league exist. And it doesnt seem that you understood that Marty is playing in Lithuanian league and also in Euroleague. Two different competitions.

So if you dont even have the clue about the leagues he plays, you have never seen him playing, but you know hes a worser than Podkolzin?

bottom line is still that hes a backup to Tanoka Beard, who didn't rate an NBA look and his numbers are not enough to say he's even a backup NBA guy-so it comes down to a hunch that this tall teen with no resume is gonna justify a very early pick and a multi- million dolar deal-well,there's a sucker born evey minute

Of course Andriuskevicius is no backup NBA guy for now or for 1-2 next seasons. I hope he stays in Europe for at least a year. Hes a project, very raw, etc, I think you read draftcity profile, so you know it. Hes not gonna produce in next 3 years for sure and its up to him what he chooses a Skita-Darko way or developing in Europe, which would help him much more than bench in NBA. If he chooses the second way Im sure he can become something. Of course he wont be a top3 plyaer of his class, but hes no stiff as Podkolzin.

Now Tanoka Beard... First of all I dont like your attitude "not NBA player=scrub". Thats a bullshit, basketball isnt only NBA and you already got some lessons in Sydney OG, Indianapolis WC or Athens OG. Tanoka is considered one of best PF-C in Europe. Knowing him closely Im almost sure that no NBA look was because of his character and attitude. Hes very sensitive. He doesnt like sitting on the bench and one of the reasons Marty play less is because Tanoka doesnt agree (mentaly not verbaly) to play less than 30 minutes even in games when we win by 30+. If coach subs him too early, Tanoka gets mad and doesnt play the best anymore in that game. Such temper problems held him of NBA and also himself he wanted to play so he chose to play and not try NBA from the lowest step.

Bottom line here is that you dont show any respect to other league than NBA, so its hard for you to understand that there are good players here too.
