<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Go to a Chicago Bulls' game, and it's beginning to look like the good old days.

The United Center is rocking, with loud, passionate fans packing every last seat. Even that third level of boxes, so high up in the rafters they may as well be on the roof, are occupied. Team gear is back in fashion, too. There's no shame in busting out that Bulls' sweatshirt, and it's OK to replace an old-school Michael Jordan jersey with something a little more current. After six years of mind-numbing futility, where the only thing left to play for at this time of year was avoiding last place, the Bulls have come roaring back. With one of the most remarkable turnarounds in the NBA, Chicago is on the verge of making the playoffs for the first time since 1998.

"The Bulls are so much fun to watch," said Mark Grogan, who brought his 12-year-old daughter, Eileen, and 10-year-old son, Patrick, to Tuesday night's game. "People are really excited." </div> Source

I believe they do but I think the writer was trying to get across the lack of shame and the fact the United Center is now rocking, including seats all the way in the 3rd deck.

    Same.

I really started following basketball about 3 years ago, i mean i been a Bulls fan all my life, but I never got a chance to see them (still dont, seen em play twice in 3 years) but now with the internet and boards like this it is much easier to really follow them.

It been the same for me as a Tennessee Titans fan, at the moment we looking to be a bad team but i will still follow them like i have the bulls.

I love hearing things like this. Excitement brought back into the arena and the crowd pumping.

I also hate bandwagon fans. I've been a Bulls fan ever since I was old enough to remember watching games and understand the concept of the game itself. I'll always be a Bulls fan no matter how bad they are. Through thick and thin.

Its gonna be interesting to see if the Bulls can nab that 4th spot from Washington. Both teams are playing well but the Bulls are streaking.

Yeah have to agree with the band wagon things. I started my interst in basketball when I was 10, I am now 21, so it was in the Jordan Chicago hype era. I did like the bulls but I fought off temptations to support them.

Still I am really happy to see them do so well, and slightly annoyed that in like 3yrs if you keep your players like the rookies and younger players you will be the best team in the east lol.

I really dont like fans that hate them when thier losing but love them when thier winning i've been a Bulls fan since i've been born i like the Spurs too but thats because i've watched them develop into a great team not because they won 2 rings

The Bulls have one of the best attendances in the NBA if not THE best. The fans have always been there and have stayed there even since Jordan left. He says that even the highest level seats are occupied but even when the Bulls were losing they were selling out on a regular basis. What the hell is this writer talking about?

I feel the same way about bandwagoners, I've had good times and bad times with all my teams, but I stick with them because IMHO you can't truly appreciate the good times unless you have gone through the bad.

    My Teams:

The Bulls (I'll admit I got on the bandwagon when Jordan was here, although I didn't really watch basketball beforehand. I've stuck with them since then so I've been payin my dues afterward rather than beforehand)

Colorado Avalanche (I've liked them since they were the Quebec Nordiques and maaaaaan let me tell you the Nords had some horrible teams, but after all that frustration nothing was sweeter than seein Uwe Krupp score in like the 10 billionth overtime of game for in the finals to win the cup.)

Toronto Blue Jays (Started out with the Jays getting decent, winning a few divisions only to lose in the playoffs, then the glory years where we won 2 World Series, but they've been in a free for all since then, it's really just a lack of good management which is the most frustrating thing.)

New England Patriots (So close in Superbowl 31, if it wasn't for Desmond Howard.... Sat through a lot of 5-10 type seasons then in 2001 Bledsoe goes out and it looks like we've got another one on the horizon, but along comes Tom Brady. bam Superbowl XXXVI Champions in the best football game I've ever seen, I'll never forget Brady takin the helm with less than 2 mins left and no time outs and marching us down to field goal range. Or the snow bowl game with the infamous tuck rule call. We might have won 4 superbowls in a row if the bloody Packers didn't choke in 2002 allowing the Jets in. But hey 3 out of 4 I'm not complainin. Of course the fans are excited. The bulls got a young team of starts. I mean at least 3 future allstars on the team right now, and they are still young. Eddie Curry has finally found himself, or so it seems, we'll se when he resignes if he resignes. But the bulls are exciting, they are the underdog this season and everyone loves the underdog.
