Rasheed Wallace. Most of his shots are daggers. He can work the arc, and has made key shots when needed. But, far as numbers he's slipping. He has been getting more rebounds than average. Who else watches him? [IMG]

Rasheed brings more to the Piston's than just numbers. He is one of the x-factors that provides energy and a presence for Detroit on both ends. He also plays great defense and is a force in the low post. He is a player that can stuff the stat sheet but he also does the little things that makes it easier for everyone else.

Rasheed is extremely important to the Pistons. He's their best player on offense in the post and also has the ability to extend the defense because he can shoot it from any where on the court. Rasheed is also an underrated defender. He might not get a lot of blocks, but he alters a lot of shots because of his height and wingspan. And of course you have to like his mentality of buying into the team concept and sacrificing his personal stats to help his team win. His emotional energy also drives this team and fires up the home crowd.

He put them over the hump last year, so obviously he is important. He brings more than just stats to a game, he brings intensity, emotion, and as shape said, fires up the crowd. I believe with Sheed last year, the Pistons wouldn't of even made the finals.
