You know, we have ALL-PRO/LEGENDS (I know the Phil thing is just speculation) that want to work with Garnett. Kidd, Phil (possibly), others (I know their out there). What I'm currently thinking is, be patient, and blow the roof off next season. Personally, if we could get (your probably sick of this) Jim Jackson, we'd once again dominate. Garnett is elite, Kidd (on the run as a first option) and Phil (with the triangle as the second). Garnett and Kidd can make the other teammates better. I'm crazy, I know, but damn. I want to see (for myself & Garnett) a championship.
Is what your saying, screw this season and prepare to come out big next season? I'm up for that, but all of the big changes seem to be only speculation. Hmmmmm.....i'm thinking of KG, Kidd and Phil Jackson working together on the same court....I hope thats more possible than it seems.
I know people think I'm crazy, but the question is do you want to have a team for seasons, or put everything into one basket for one big run. This doesn't mean that the "Big Run" team can't compete for a season or two, but I'd hate to have Garnett waste his prime not accomplishing much. You heard Shaq's statements about how he can't fathom being an elite player and have to scrape and scrounge for a playoff berth.
i don't see JKidd and KG playin together next season...RJ will be back next season and the Nets will make a run...a "Big Run"...As for Phil,it'll be good for the team if he goes there...I'm sure he can make them get better...But for now,it seems like it's "bye, bye post season" ...
