does anybody feel the way i feel? i miss the old lakers. the lakers that won the 00-03 championships. i miss ron harper, and yes, i even miss glen rice. i wish that things would be back like they were before. the old days i like to call it. the new generation lakers: odom, butler, grant, atkins, ect. aren't taking a special place in my heart. somedays, when watching laker games, i often find myself thinking of the old days, of the players like horry, fox, shaw, and harper who are no loger with us. many days i just feel sad when i watch a lakers game, knowing that it will never be the same again. even if we do win three more championships in a row again, those player, and those laker teams will always have a special part in my heart. when i recently found out shaw was an assistant coach for the lakers, if was really happy. just catching a glimpse of one of those player from the old days make me happy. i just wish that someday they will have a special reunion, and play one last game together. that would be touching. although i know i have to move on, i often find it difficult, since i will always be thinking of those special players that filled great memories in my heart. i was just wondering, does anybody else feel that way?
This is a whole new change you'll have to adjust with. Sure you missed them because they were solid role players who were instrumental in them wining games. If that;s the case can I say I miss Patrick Ewing, and Sprewell?
Why would you miss Sprewell, Fox was a smart player and Horry was money in hte clutch and Shaq knew what he was doing
Fox Who? Just playing. =) I miss the "Old Lakers" too. They will be back to greatness soon. Before those Laker's, there was a time after the Showtime period. Adjustments will be made and the Glory days will return! AMEN!
