Is it possible? I think they should definitely be considered. I think Illinois and North Carolina are no doubters as of now. But who are the other two? I think with the loss to NC State, Wake Forest falls down to a two seed. So, for the last two spots, who should it be? I think it's got to be between Louisville, Duke, and Kentucky. Your thoughts?

I think Wake Forest opened the door for Duke to aim for a #1 seed. If Duke wins the ACC tourney they should get a #1 seed. Kentucky seems to be the other solid choice. Arizona and Louisville are still long shots, but it's a shame Chris Paul might have cost his team a #1 seed.

Illinois and UNC are automatic choices, and I also think Kentucky should be there as well. But the other #1 seed is wide open...So, after tomorrow is over, maybe we'll have a better idea of who the other one could or should be...

I really think Duke has a chance at a #1 seed if they get to the ACC Finals.

Kentucky looks solid but i'm not sure if they should get a #1 seed or not. UK is a great team but they scare you when they play. With most teams a 13 point lead with 7 minutes to go is secure. With UK I think they rush their offense down the stretch and get rattled easy causing them to turn the ball over. Most of the time when this happens they end up losing or winning in a nail-biter.

I wouldn't count UConn or Syracuse out either.

UConn is being overrated by ESPN way too much, they are a good team and they are on fire going into the tournament but they are talking about 2 even 3 seed in the tournament which I think isn't possible.

I like Arizona going in though, they are drawing comparisons to last years UConn team with Stoudamire being Gordon and Fyre being Okafor. They aren't the same, but certainly a smaller version of the team.

I think with a win this morning against Ga. Tech will sew up a number one seed for UNC, and Illinois already has a top seed all but guaranteed for them. Now with those other two spots is where the confernce championships come into play. I think UNC will take the third number one seed, and that leftover spot will go to Arizona if they win the Pac-10 title, but if Duke wins the ACC title it is theirs.

Arizona over Louisville? Louisville is ranked higher at the moment, with more wins and less losses. I think if Louisville wins their conference tourney, they should get the slight edge, because rankings and wins and losses show that they are better.
