Yes, its a tad early, but hey... this is just for fun here... Miller is expected to be back by then, so we shall include him for now. Jackson is expected to not be back untill after the playoffs start & has basicly been out for the better part of two years, you can include him, but keep that in mind. Please give me starting lineups, and substitutions in order by position. Feel free to include players that can play multiple positions in your order (example of that being Bibby, House, Martin as the sub order) as things stand this is how I have it Starting Lineup (which is no surprise) 1- Bibby 2- Mobley 3- Stojakovic 4- Thomas 5- Miller Substitutions: 1- Bibby, House, Jackson, Martin 2- Mobley, Evans, Martin 3- Stojakovic, Williamson, Evans 4- Thomas, Williamson, Skinner, Miller 5- Miller, Skinner, Ostertag, Thomas Small lineup: 1 Bibby/house 2 Mobley/Evans 3 Stojakovic/Williamson 4 Thomas 5 Skinner Big lineup 1 Bibby/Mobley 2 Evans 3 Williamson/Stojakovic 4 Skinner/Miller 5 Miller/Ostertag Defensive Lineup: (as in we need a shot blocked a steal or a defensive rebound) 1 Bibby 2 Evans 3 Williamson 4 Miller 5 Skinner Offensive Linup (as in we need a last second shot from someone) 1 Bibby 2 Mobley 3 Stojakovic 4 Thomas 5 Miller Garbage time linuep: 1 House 2 Martin 3 Williamson 4 Skinner 5 Tag One thing that I found was when I started looking at the players that I believe will get minutes in the playoffs (even though Adelman tends to have a limited playoff roster) I could not really think of a way of not having every one of these guys listed in here. a few notes on my lineup: *The 1 and 2 are at times interchangable and really, any of the 2's listed here could play at the 1 if they needed to. *I have Miller listed at the 4 because he knows the position very well and he & Skinner Could easily rotate between the two positions at any point they are on the floor together.
Starting Line 1 - Bibby 2 - Mobley 3 - Peja 4 - Darius 5 - Miller Subs Bibby, Jackson, House, Mobley (if he needs to play 1) Mobley, Evans, Martin, House Stojakovic, Williamson, Martin Songalia, Thomas, Williamson, Miller (if you use Skinner at 5) Miller, Skinner, Ostertag

Eddie House over Bobby Jackson? Even if Jackson is comming off a major injury, he still makes most of his plays with his legs. Jackson has been in the playoffs before and most of all, has the most experience on the entire team at running the offense. I would take 63% of Jackson over House in the playoffs because Jackson is used to the intense pressure.
I still wouldnt play Jackson over House under this particular situation if only for the fact that after that long a period of time, Jackson would be pretty rusty while House has been playing great behind Bibby (not as good as Jackson has in the past, but there is no way that Jackson can take that amount of time off and still be effective right out of the gate). that was my only reasoning behind it.
I could see that. I guess that it would all depend on how Jackson has been looking in practice before Rick would make his decision. I hope that the Kings can somehow get the 4 spot by the end of the year.
Somehow I agree with both of you. If the decision were mine, I'd probably use House over Jackson. But, I don't think Adelman would agree with me. Coaches are notorious when it comes to situations like this. Rick won't let Jackson lose his spot because of an injury. The only way House will take it over is if Bobby plays him self out of it.

With Jackson being a free agent at the end of the year (although there is a club option for next year) I would be willing to bet that management would do what ever they can to make BJax as happy as possible.

The Kings hold the option and they have already notified him that they intend to exercise their option on his contract. As for the Webber situation, that was a slightly different issue with a starting player vs a bench player along with the fact that Webbers "feelings" might get hurt. It was not the greatest of moves on Adelmans part, but I dont see the same thing happening in this situation. As far as Jackson playing himself out of it? I really think that he will not even be able to play himself INTO it at this point. He has esentially missed the last two seasons & I dont think he can be ready in that short a time frame. He may get some minutes on the floor, but I dont really see it being a lot of minutes that will make much of a difference this year.
