who do u think is the best qb to take in my fantasy draft...im thinking peyton manning what do u guys think?
Manning and Culpepper are the safest bets, but you generally have to take them in the first round to get them. Generally, unless it's late in the round, you're much better off taking a running back. If Manning goes off this year like he did last year, though, he'd be worth taking with just about any pick. A shame we can't see into the future...
i think kerry collins might be a surprise pick this year because hell u can just loft it up to moss and let him go get it.
I was going to say Collins is a good sleeper pick if you're not able to get one of the elites. Manning is the safest bet, although Culpepper should be a good bet as well. Minnesota is talking about going to more of a running game, so he won't have the TD's that he did last year.
I think Manning is still the safest bet because little will change for him. Culpepper lost Moss, but one of his most attractive attributes is the rushing yards and TDs that he can bring to the table. Behind Manning, he is still a top choice. Vick has a game-by-game home run threat for the same running style, but he isn't consistent enough to put up numbers that make him a top choice. McNabb would most likely be a top 5 QB obviously. Collins may be a good pick, but the risk associated wouldn't make him one of the first two IMO. Warner is another interesting maybe. If they can protect him, he should put up some big number. If not, look out. Favre is not longer an elite fantasy QB, but certainly still in the top echelon. Brady is a good QB, but the scheme is not conducive to large fantasy numbers.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Cowboy71)</div><div class='quotemain'>. Brady is a good QB, but the scheme is not conducive to large fantasy numbers.</div> But look at his TD to INT against anyone not named Manning or culpepper over the last three years...nevermind that he is VERY consistent in spreading those numbers out game to game...if you draft well around him and get him late he can be a perfect fantasy QB but anyone who takes brady high is smoking crack..
I got Brady in my other league in the middle rounds and I was VERY happy with his production. Consistent contribution every week...unlike guys like Jake Plummer who go off one week, then disappear the next week. Brady and Favre and Trent Green are great mid-round picks who will get you consistent points week in and week out.

1. Manning, has to be same offense as last year where he got almost 50 tds 2. Cullpepper- I had this guy last year and i really saw how good he is, he produced week in and week out, even when moss was out Sleepers 1. Warner- you could get him with a 3rd round pick maybe and he could perform better then some first rounders. He has the talent around him and he has the talent in him 2. Joey Harrington- this is joey's year and hes going to suprise you all. charles rodgers, roy williams, mike williams, kevin johnson, marcus pollard, and kevin jones. Need i say more. plus look at how drew brees turned things around after a bad third season last year Stay away from Mcnabb. Hes a good qb, but you don't know whats going on with ownes, plus i don't want to sound like a supersticous guy but the qbs who have lost in the sb have had terrible years the next year (well delhome played ok but look at how his team did) plus throw in the fact mcnabb was on the madden cover
ahhh fantasy football already its getting close "sigh" Manning definatly is the best bet and the best fantasy qb Culpepper is close even without moss he will drop because of it but dont think hes not gonna post numbers dont underestimate him

Consistency is very important. However, that doesn't put Brady up top in fantasy.
another guy u might think about and this is gonna seem really biased but carson palmer ended up with 18 tds and 18 ints last year in essentially his rookie season and hes got his whole offense back last year which was really clickin at the end of last year...hes got all of his offensive linemen locked up for at least two years, as well as chad johnson, tj houshmanzadeh, and peter warrick who caught 8 tds in 03, though he still has questions about his knee
