In his postgame interview after he scored 36 points on 10-for-22 shooting and had nine assists and five rebounds, Iverson had an ice pack on the hand.

Asked when he had injured it, he said, "I have no idea, I just know it was in the second half."

Iverson had just had an X-ray done, but was unaware of the results at that point.

Afterward, Iverson sat at his locker surrounded by team physician Jack McPhilemy, team director of sports medicine Jim McNulty and assistant general manager Tony DiLeo. He had his head buried in his arms as they talked to one another and appeared very upset as he headed to the showers.

However, he wasn't made available to the media again.</div>

...Why Iverson? Well anyways, I'm a little iffy on his status in the next game against Cleveland, but I'm very sure that is the only game he may end up sitting out with this injury at least. Iverson played with a broken finger in Athens, so why wouldn't he be able to play with a chipped bone in his non-shooting hand on top of that during this time of need where the 76ers need every win to make the Playoff's. But if he was to miss a significant amount of time, I'm positive that Webber can keep this team hovering around a .500 mark during AI's absence.

    Good News

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">`Nine times out of 10, I'm playing Friday,'' Iverson said after the 76ers practiced without the All-Star game MVP.
    ...

`I don't use my left hand for nothing but dribbling anyway,'' Iverson said. ``I tell my teammates I've got the worst left hand in the league.''

    Sixers president Billy King agreed.

`His left is awful,'' said King, laughing. ``Having a cast on it doesn't affect his game.''</div>

Definetley got a little scared after seeing this. But it is Allen Iverson so I figured he would be fine.

Man Iverson is a true warrior. Playing with a broken finger, I really don't know how he does it. However, he needs to be careful not to make the injury worse or else it could really hurt the team.

If I remember right then he had this injury last season or season before last and he still dropped 30's and 40's on other teams so Im not concerned as I hope Webber starts to play now
