    <font color="Red">HEAT</font> vs <font color="Orange">LAKERS </font> (Thu 17, 8:00pm TNT)

I really don't care much about the Kobe & Shaq fiasco, but since the Heat forum has been a bit quiet I figure i'll start by lighting the fire.

Check the LINK from Scoop Jackson comparing the feud to Biggie & Tupac / East v. West.
"They've made us choose sides. Pick one. Hate the other."

Anyone care to throw more gas into the fire?

Wow that is a tacky spin on the Shaq v. Kobe rivalry to toss out Pac and Biggie. The first meeting between these teams was very entertaining, but the Lakers have been terrible their last two games, and the Heat are on a roll. I don't see how the Lakers can compete in this game, especially on the road. The Heat are actually a deeper team than the first time the teams battled at Staples. The Lakers got torched by Allen Iverson, and they have no answer for Dwayne Wade. Wade is too, fast for Atkins or Kobe to guard, and Tierre Brown couldn't guard his own shadow.

Then of course there is Shaq to deal with. Mihm is terrible on the road and Brian Grant doesn't have the leg strength or size to contain Shaq.

I expect the Lakers to play better than they have their last two games, the team has been a roller coaster all season long. The Lakers need to concentrate on stopping Wade and the rest of the Heat and let Shaq go off. Then try to keep in the game by being smart offensively and attacking the rim and Shaq. It's always easier said than done, and the Lakers have fallen in love with the 3-ball again.

I hate to say it, but I expect Miami to easily win by double digits and completely control the game from start to finish.

LOL @ Tierre Brown. Nice analogy Shape. I don't see this game being as exciting as last time. Not only because I really don't care about the whole Shaq/Kobe thing anymore, but Miami should win this pretty easily. Miami by 12.

I wish people would stop reporting stuff like this and the comment Shaq' made about the Godfather, although I found that funny. The whole Shaq' and Kobe feud is old news. Everyone is looking at this rivalry like it has the magnitude of the Brid/Magic and Wilt/Russell rivalries when it's nowhere near that magnitude.

Back to the matchup tonight, Miami has been on fire as of lately and since they are playing in Miami I think the Heat will win the game by double-digits.

The Lakers don't have anyone who can guard Shaq' downlow. The only thing that will be able to stop the Big Fella' is foul trouble. If you recall, during the game on Christmas Shaq' fouled out in the fourth quarter.

Kobe will play a great game tonight in hopes of beating the Heat and trying to get the 8th spot in the west but it won't be enough.
