Im hoping Suns vs Heat in the finals, with the Suns winning in 7 games...

And dont give me that "they need a big man" or "scoring teams dont win championships" because they are winning in the regular season and the playoffs shouldnt be any different.

I think the Heat and the Spurs will play for the title with the Heat winning it all. Any team that has Shaq' has a chance of winning a championship. I really don't think the Spurs have anyone that can matchup with Shaq'.

Heat and Suns. They're hot and should carry it through the play-offs, with the Heat winning in seven.

    Heat/Spurs

I will give the Heat the benefit of the doubt of overcoming Detroit.

I don't see anyone beating San Antonio in the West or for that matter from the East.

In the east, I see the Heat going to the finals. The whole team is really clicking and Wade has almost been impossible to stop. In the West, its tough for me. The Spurs are the Spurs, I mean just a tough team to beat packed with a great bunch of players. But the Suns are still sticking in my mind. Alot may say their too unexperienced for the playoffs but with the great team they`ve had this season, I`d still watch out.

They need a big man and scoring teams dont win championships. So Spurs will win in 7 games.

I think the Heat and Suns, especially since Tim Duncan is constantly getting injured these days..

People seem to be really discounting the Pistons' chances to repeat.
DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETRIOT Basketball will be back in the playoffs.
Look for them to let Shaq do whatever he wants and try to shut down Wade and company (if they meet up in the playoffs).

And I offer two scenarios for the NBA Finals:

We can either have a media frenzy, run-gun, action packed Finals with unparralled offensive arsenals featured in a Miami vs. Pheonix finals or we can settle for a defensive minded Finals with great coaches, great chemistry and two very unstoppable and consistent teams in Detroit and San Antonio.

I pick the latter of the two and will go with my gut feeling that it will be Detroit vs. San Antionio in the Finals with San Antionio winning in 7 (considering Tim Duncan doesn't get further injuries.)

I don't think the Rockets will make it passed the first round.

I don't see where you guys are coming up with this Spurs as champions. Now that Timmy D is gone, they can't match up with Shaq. So even if they did make it all the way, there is no way San Antonio can match up with Shaq. But since there isn't any more of Timmy D, I think the Suns are going against the Heat. Heat win it all in 7.

I didn't explain how the Heat got there anyway, but I don't think anyone can beat them. The Pistons can come close to beating them, but with the way the Heat is playing now, they are unstoppable.

I think it will be Suns vs Heat in the finals and I have said that since the start of the season, not just becuase they have the best records at the mo. I think the series will go to six or seven games and either team can win. I would like Dwyane Wade to get a ring, but I love the suns team also.

[IMG] You do realise Tim is only out for 2-4 weeks right? you act as If he will be out for the playoffs. He clearly won't be and him resting up now will get him ready for the playoffs. His ankle wasn't 100% anyway but the injury on sunday made It worse obviously. He will be ready for the post season.

Oh and yes Shaq would be a tough match-up for the Spurs frontline but equally the Heat can't match-up with Duncan either.

The Heat vs. Suns. The Suns will shock the Spurs by eliminating them considering Duncan's injury.
