It has to be the Miami Heat from the East, they have 10 straight wins and are dominating their opponents. From the West I'd go with the Denver Nuggets. They are coming off an 8 game win streak, winners of 9 out of their last 10, and have fought their way back into the playoffs.
I'll go out and a limb here and say the Boston Celtics. Why not the Miami Heat? Well from my perspective I look this as an expected rampage. The Heat was fully capable of doing this, and while they play this stretch without playing their real competition such as Suns, Sonics and Spurs this type of run could have been seen a mile away. The Celtics on the other hand has won 5 overall and are 9-1 since they acquired Antoine Walker. And that one lost was a desperation heave by Sprewell that just got them the win. So yeah, I'll say Boston for now, but the ways they play on the road in their upcoming schedule well tell a lot about this team character and hot are they really.
Miami's 10 game winning streak is nice and all but Houston's 6 game streak is far more impressive when you consider who their wins came against Dallas @ Sonics @ Suns @ Kings Those are the best wins you could have in a week. Beating 4 of the best teams in the west is not something that happens everyday.
The Miami Heat has to be the hottest team in the NBA. They are clicking right now at the right time. Shaq is playing like he is motivated to prove something. Wade has been fantastic. The supporting cast has really played over their heads. Miami has really stepped it up.

Hottest team: Miami ~12 in a row ~19 out of last 21 ~Average margin of victory is 16ppg ~14 in a row at home ~Havent lost a regulation (21) game since Feb 1 (record is 33) ~First team since 72-win Bulls to have (2) 10+ game winning streaks Best team: Miami
Lately, it's been the Heat and the Celtics. The Heat have been dominating opponents as of late, shown as their what, 12 game winning streak? The Celtics have been seemingly unbeatable as of late also since the reacquisition of Antoine Walker.

There are quite a few hot teams right now. The Heat are just dominating, plain and simple. The Nuggets are 17-5 since George Karl took over coaching duties. The Celtics are 11-1 since acquiring Antoine Walker.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Umer remU:</div><div class="quote_post">in the nba or just canada?</div> Sadly, there's only one Canadian NBA team. Anyways, I have a couple of teams in mind: Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, and the Denver Nuggets. All have been extremely hot as of late.
