The University of Pacific has been quicker to the ball and are using their experience to take a controlling lead over Pittsburgh. The Pacific Tigers are playing in a good rhythm right now and are getting easy baskets. Pittsburgh is settling for off-balanced 3 pointers and continue to dribble right into double teams. Pittsburgh is only shooting 38% right now and have already taken 11 shots from behind the arc. The Tigers have opened up a 10 point lead with about 5 minutes left in the 1st half. Yango is getting it done off the bench for Pacific with 7 points already, by being Mr. Windex on the offensive glass.

The Tigers lead 45-30 at the half. Pacific is taking advantage of a struggling Krauser and Troutman, they are only shooting a combined 2 for 11 from the field. Pittsburgh is playing sloppy basketball, while Pacific is playing efficient basketball and are getting a lot of open looks. Pittsburgh will have to step up defensively to get back in this game.

Leading Scorers @ the Half
Antonio Graves -- 10 (PITT)
Christian Maraker -- 12 (UOP)
Mike Webb -- 12 (UOP)

I knew Pacific would beat the Panthers. Panthers has showed me nothing this year.
